“The price is still $1 for each item so far. They will raise the price by a quarter each item on Feb.6, 2022 for almost everything except cards and some candies. It's a small place and often gets crowded but with good selections of toys, cards, art and craft supplies, kitchen and cleaning products and etc. Their art and craft stuff are way cheaper than the Hobby & Lobby nextdoor. If you are a craft & art lover, don't gorget to shop there before heading to Hobby & Lobby nextdoor. You can check their new items on Fridays or Saturdays because their truck comes every Friday for delivery. However, they don't allow return or refund. After the price changes to $1.25, we probably will shop more at the dollar section at the nearby Target to get the small toys for the kids at $1 each where they also accept returns.”
“They have a lot of great new items for Christmas, and I think their products overall have improved in quality since the price changes happened. I love the range of the items over a dollar now, too!”

“the Howe Ave Dollar Tree is great! the Hudson Drive Dollar Tree is terrible because they've removed a bunch of 1.25 items and replaced them with 4 and 5 dollar items. I get that there's an aisle for more expensive stuff, but the Hudson Drive one is putting all that expensive stuff outside of that aisle and removing stuff that's always been 1.25. Thankfully Howe Ave still has the items for the regular 1.25 price. I'll be going only to Howe Ave DT now and avoiding Hudson Dr DT from now on”

“While the standard for orderliness and cleanliness in dollar stores has been extremely low, it was a delight to walk around the aisles to shop at Family Dollar on Main Street today! I couldn't find a thing out of place, the aisles weren't blocked with stock that needed to be put on shelves, all the prices were clearly marked, and the customer service I received was of the highest quality.I shopped there today, Saturday, Nov 11th at approximately 2:30 p.m. I hope whoever manages that store receives recognition as well as the employees who are working so hard there. You all deserve a big fat raise????”

“My personal review varies depending on location. 5 stars definitely goes to the locations of Cleveland Avenue in Uniontown, Ohio (closest one to 619/turkey foot rd.), also the one on route 43 in/near Randolph Ohio (close to the route 43/I-224 intersection), and lastly both locations on Cleveland massillon rd. In Norton, Ohio. However, S. Main st location in akron, Ohio could definitely improve primarily on organization in regards to stocking placement. Aside from that being said keep up the great work employees!”

“I mean it's a dollar general so there's not too much to say, but it's far better than any other dollar general I've been to. It's not super small, it's pretty clean, the staff is pretty friendly and it's easy to locate most items.”

“This store is always way to busy. Never enough employees working. No room to shop. Always messy. But the store always has what you want. And the employees that are there working alway have a smile and are friendly. Dollar General needs to expand into the other store that is vacant next door, that way they would have more room to stock more stuff.”

“I have never been in a better, cleaner or nicer Dollar General. Chris and Lori were working and went out of their way helping me look for it. They couldn't have been any nicer. I even had quite a few groceries and Lori cane out and helped me load my groceries which I really appreciated. I will definitely drive the extra 20 minutes to get this kind of service!! They were great and deserved to be recognized!!!”
