“Had a dead battery on Sunday. Showed up first thing Monday morning at Ulmer’s in Loveland, Ohio and not only did they squeeze me into a full slate of repair appointments to diagnose the issue, they also fixed it including honoring a warranty on a 2 year old battery purchased from the previous Marcotte repair shop. Will definitely go back for any other repairs we need in the future and would highly recommend Ulmer’s.”

I was quoted about $650 for a broken AC repair, and during the repair they said I'd need another $300 for a new part. The part was nowhere near that much online, it was going for about 130-200, so I felt like I was getting screwed. When I got there to pickup and pay for my car, the total bill was only $350. Turns out they found the part for only $109! These guys are great!”

“I had my car towed to their lot because it just died in the middle of the road. I had never done business with Hometown but they were right across the street from where I worked. They ran the tests on the car and let me know the problem and the options for repair. The car was my husband's work car so we didn't own it. I really couldn't make the decision on what to do. The actual owner lives out of state now so communicating was very difficult. (Owner lives in Florida...hurricanes you know) so it's taken me way too long to get the mess resolved. After letting the Dan's what was going on... they were so very understanding. They have let the car sit taking up valuable space. They were always super nice and very patient with me. I honestly am very thankful!! Most businesses wouldn't have even considered letting me take this long!
The least I could do was let people know they are good people”

“I had my oil changed at a fast change place about a month ago. I noticed some fluid leakage on my garage floor. Brought car here to have it checked. Oil filter was not tight. Gregg changed the filter and topped the oil off and didn't charge me. They've gained my future business and should get yours also is you're reading this. Just do it.”

He hired similar people when he started his own business. Dave Lay worked on our vehicles with him. Dave replaced our Caravan engine with a smaller 3.3, by request when everyone else said it was impossible. It ran for many years, perfectly back'n forth across the country on family vacations. What else can I say?”

Halt auto has been honest, prompt, and made repairs at better than OEM dealership costs, and not sold me on stuff that while may need to be addressed, isn't keeping my car from safely getting me from point a to point b.

They also took a look at my brakes, as they were squealing, and found nothing wrong to hinder the functioning of them. They didn't charge me for inspecting my brakes either. Very friendly and they had my car done in less than 30 minutes.”
