“Well laid out store with canned and dry foods. Alot of baking and cleaning and store bags also. Alot of people say to bring a flashlight but just simply go during day before noon and you will not need one. Amish folks run it so do not expect them to be chatty, they are nice. A good bargain for everything there. I got espresso pods for first Gen Nespresso machine for a box of 12 for under a buck. You cannot beat that anywhere. Alot of Coffee choices also for Keurig machines. This is a game changer if you want to supplement your savings. Try it atleast once I feel you will find a majority of good finds.”

“I go here all the time. One big thing that drives me nuts is customers re- arranging the shelves. There's only 5 employees. They can't do anything about it sometimes. People always complain about the availability; you know what? Then drive to Marion to Walmart. It's a cheap convinant store what do you expect?”

“I have been avoiding this Krogers because I prefer the bigger one in Lexington which has pretty decent sushi for a supermarket. However today, I needed a few odds and ends for a brisket plus I needed to stop at the Mount Gilead post office for a package, so shopping here was more convenient. I passed several employees, each giving me a friendly welcome. That put me in a good mood. By the ice cream, I wanted the raspberry. There wasn't any BUT a guy was unloading a bunch of ice cream and he asked if he could help me. Wow...and double wow because what I wanted was at the bottom of this big bunch of assorted ice cream. Without hesitation, he got it for me with a smile. And he said he heard my selection was good. All my coupons worked at self checkout but one. The clerk fixed it and then sent us on her way with a thank you. So the friendliness of all the people I ran into will put this store back on my list. I left with a smile on my face.I was also pleased with the freshness of the produce and the cleanliness of the store.”

“Used to be, (still is?), an IGA grocery store. You can buy anything from fajita tortilla shells to some one off Christmas decorations. It is unique and the only place you have a somewhat decent selection of beer or liquor in what is, essentially, Amish country. Strange, but pleasant. On a side note, pay no attention to the quiet old man in the closet when you first walk in.”

“Love this store!! I live in a rural area and it's so nice to actually have somewhere near by that has everything. This store is also very organized and neat.”

“Grew up shopping here. After spending a decade and a half out west I got used to the way things work out there. We came into my hometown Kroger for some flowers and worked with Jennifer in the floral department. She was awesome, and had a few other guests come by to say hello (one was about 5 and told us she was his girlfriend which made everyone laugh). I miss the hometown feel of our Kroger. Some things never change, glad the service here is one of them.”

“I don't think I ever really had a problem at this Kroger ! A few times they really didn't have any registers open but it wasn't that big of a deal. The employees I would ask for help 10/10 were professional, listened to what I said and told me where to go some of them even brought me over to it. Keep up the good work !!”

“Located behind Auto Zone. Drug Mart has pretty decent prices, good sales. I’ve never actually used the pharmacy. They process photographs take passport photos. There is a decent sized grocery section.”

“Good location. It is the only grocery store in town so it is usually pretty busy. There is a Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Rite Aid and Drug Mart in town to choose from as well but this is the only actual grocery store. It is not a marketplace, just a regular grocery. They do have a fuel center. They have grocery pick up as of summer 2023. I’m a big fan of that. It hasn’t really caught on around here so there is never a wait of you place a grocery order on the app. Most of the employees are very nice & helpful.”
