βI’ve been into a lot of Dollar General stores and I have to say this is the nicest, well kept Dollar General I have ever been in. If you could win an award for those attributes and how nice the employees are this store stands at the top of the list and should get the award. I wish they had a six star choice because they would get it.β
βWhen you're looking for a product at a price that is affordable. I was disappointed 1 time in the last 7 years. I didn't have enough money to buy everythingβ

βFive Below is always such a fun place to shop - theres just so much cool and random stuff to look through, and I almost always find something I didnβt even know I wanted. The person at the checkout was super friendly and made the experience really pleasant. The only downside was that one staff member stocking shelves was really rude, which kind of took away from the vibe. Still, overall itβs a great store with tons of fun finds!β

βProbably one of the cleanest most organized 5 belows I have ever seen in my entire life! I was amazed how everything was well put together and in the correct spot. Has many great snacks and drinks for a cheap price! Absolutely love this location and will come back if I am in the area!β
βThey are working on coming back. You can tell they have significantly reduced the number of items they carry in inventory, even in the holiday decor area, Big Lots used to carry so much more decor for Halloween and Christmas.
They still carry staples like shampoo, conditioner and body wash at great prices and they carry a lot more clothing than the old Big Lots used to carry.
I am hoping that the longer they are open the more their inventory will grow.β

βHands down my favorite Drug Mart of all time. Its the biggest one that I know of and has such a unique and abundant selection. It far out weighs the Kent and Stow locations. They are awesome too mind you, but this one really stands out. You can find most of what you are looking for here. Much like a little mini Walmart. Hopefully you guys keep being the greatness you are!β
βSave a lot is a 10 out of 10 Very clean very very clean organize the meat looks fresh the cashiers greet you very well 10 out of 10 , The whole staff is very respectful. They keep this save a lot very clean no carts In the parking lot very clean and the manager. I see him cleaning behind the produce racks 10 out of 10.β
βFive out of five stars I made yellow instead of blank idk why they choose to make me fill them in but I feel as if I should be positively compensated for my efforts.β
βThis the place i go for all my in-between shopping. Certain things I just dont buy in bulk because they go bad. My vegetables are very important to me. And The store is so close. So I'm in there grabbing small items on the regular. Thx Save A Lotβ
βMarc's is my to-go to place for groceries. The meat selection is limited. A couple of times I purchased tomatoes, regular or cherry and it tastes like they sprayed some pesticide or some type of chemicals on the tomatoes. I couldn't eat them so I threw them away.β
βI should NOT say this, but I will.....T-BONE STEAKS!!!!! Dang it, I gave away my secret. They are three to a pack (perfect for MY family size) and I can get THREE packages here for the same price that I would pay for ONE elsewhere. This store has some of the BEST meats (I don't eat pork). They also have some priced to sell meats as well (meaning you need to make them the day of purchase or the next day or immediately freeze them). Just because it says Save A Lot doesn't mean that everything is off brand. THERE ARE A LOT OF HIGH QUALITY NAME BRANDS HERE (sorry for yelling.....LOL!). I have gotten a lot of "two fors" here in the produce section. If you want to make your money go a long way, I recommend checking out their meats and other name brand items when you get a chance. You can always go to whatever other grocery store you frequent and get the rest of your food items if need be.β
βAlthough this location has been disappointing in the past, it has new management, and it is much more organized. Hours are back to normal, too. I just wish this location and others in the area had items that are frequently seen on social media.β
βI needed a lighter to lite my candles. I remembered seeing lighters at the entrance of the store and sometimes in the paper aisle on numerous occasions. I entered the store today and NO lighters!!! I asked the cashier and she stated that they still had them because she sold one earlier and to check in the paper aisle. I went back couldnβt find it and returned to the cashier. She wasnβt there ( I assumed she had went on break) .She reappeared with a smile and told me where they were located. ? Iβm todayβs time where customer service is nonexistent I would like to give kudos to Ms. Chamiah . I very much appreciate her!!!!β
βI lost my wallet at this store. I did not know that at the time, thought I lost it at another store before arriving there. Long story short, the guy I always speak to and is so very kind to respond and acknowledge me, showed up at my apartment today with wallet, everything in tact, I mean everything, quite a bit of cash, credit cards, important information, like nothing was moved. Thank God for this man and I am forever indebted to him even though everything was cancelled out and replaced. I canβt describe what this means to me there arenβt enough words. I have live in this neighborhood for 15yrs. This store has been my go to all these years for things like birthday bags, decorations, oils, shopping carts , rugs, electrical cords, small tools , etc.. IYKYK, simple as that. Thank you Sir, I donβt know you and you donβt know me besides our interactions as a proprietor and a customer, but you have exceeded that with your kind soul for going over and beyond. βI tried to call and speak with a manager but the phone timed out and went to busy - SUE IN PLANTS IS AMAZING! I was there today with my baby and only had one free hand. She helped me untangle plants, get things in my cart, carried potting mix for me, offered to help me load my carβ¦ she was a superstar. The nicest and sweetest customer service interaction Iβve had in awhile - she isnβt just doing her job, sheβs going above and beyond and I hope she gets recognition for how helpful and pleasant and kind she is!β
βAffordable items to choose from, especially as a tourist. Itβs an alternative from Dollar General. Very efficient. Also, the experience was amazing and the cashiers were friendly. For all my last-minute needs, Iβll definitely come back to this store.β
βagain they need to revamp this store badley. its clutered you Cant walk in the front of the store where the registers are. shelvs are never stocked employees are rude & nasty.All of this has been an issue since long before covid.β
βDon't go there they're never open they joke around about being open and saying they are closed one worker told me to come back in a hour and they'll be open and it was 7:00 p.m. and they close at 8:00β
βI frequent this Family Dollar with my Autistic son, I cannot tell you enough how AMAZING the employees are here.My son is a bit rambunctious, there are at least 5 ladies who work here who greet us so excitedly, theyβre patient & kind when things donβt go smoothly, they offer to help carry things to my car on days they see me having to hold my 65lb son, they even push the bell up to the front of the counter because they know he loves it! The customer service & kindness you get walking into this store is truly above & beyond, I cannot praise the employees in this store enough. Outside of the handful who go above & beyond, I have great interactions with all employees at this location.β
βI live halfway between the Broadview Hts and Independence locations. I always choose the Independence location because of their manager, Bryan. I went in this past Saturday and the store was very busy! The line was longer then usual due to Mothers Day being the next day. Bryan had such great customer service and was so apologetic(even though he didnβt need to be!) all us customers knew he was alone and doing the absolute best he could! Itβs so rare nowadays to see people actually providing good customer service and not looking like a robot! Also, Bryan resolved an issue a disgruntled customer was having & Bryan was so patient yet very professional with her!β
βThis one on Broadway and southgate is the best the one on e143 and kinsman those young girls and that one lady Mr need to go to a class on how to talk to your customers correct. If they were in a white neighborhood they would act different I spend slot of money in family dollar.and the store on e130 and buckeye those young girl don't have any respect I raised my daughter well. But family dollar is going to lose alot of business because of these kids with attitude just look in your cameras and listen to your audio. Give that job to someone who needs it thank-youβ
βThis location actually stays open until the time listed as their closing time! How it should be! The employees are very friendly and personable, we had a great conversation. They donβt push people out near closing like most locations employees do. This DG also has a nice produce little section! Most locations DO NOT HAVE THIS. The toy section is also a lot nicer than most stores have! 10/10 would recommend this location to others. βΊοΈβ
