“Got to be honest, was always a little concerned about this place as it totally seems a little sketch since it looks like a shell gas station with the color scheme, but its not. First time I walked in, I was told that there was one more hot mac n cheese left and if I wanted it I better buy it quick. I declined, as I was only after some milk for that trip. Since then, I've tried the food, and I've bought some various items including a couple bundles of firewood, all at a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with this place and am surprised every time I go in with something new and convenient that they have. This is really a great place!”

I would like to know why the hostess cakes and donuts for this particular store are always out. And what's there,. The undesirables nobody buys are stale and hard. I have gone to 4 other dollar General stores around and every one is packed with fresh hostess pastries and cupcakes) hohos you name it. Very fresh too. Why can't the store on Addison road be like the rest and get reliable delivery personal with fresh pastries. Can't be all that hard.”

Soon, there will be one close to everyone's home. YAY RIGHT! I love their stores, their like convenience stores or corner markets, just no alcohol or tobacco. Actually, my DG sells a very limited selection of tobacco products. Alcohol someday soon, maybe ? I mainly go to my DG for a last-minute emergency item. Like a quick snack or cat food. “Of all 4 dollar generals in the area, this one is usually the most open. Be prepared for the place to be randomly closed when you stop by. I'd def go back they had many meal deals worth trying plus they fellas who worked there were friendly overall nice quick place to grab food on the go instead of regular old fast food places”
“I had an issue with a cake, which was my fault as I didn’t realize Chantilly icing was so delicate, but I cannot express how much I appreciate how it was handled. The manager, Michelle immediately offered to make me another, and was so accommodating and kind - as was the young lady who answered my call. It was a special cake for my daughter’s sweet 16, I am so appreciative for their astounding customer service at the Hermitage, PA location. Rest assured, they stand behind their delicious work!”
“I stopped shopping here about a year ago, it was just dirty cramped, and the workers were always standing around doing nothing. I recently started shopping there again because the manager that’s there now seems to have everybody on track. The store is CLEAN, shelves stocked and if you ask for help form the manager she actually comes to help unlike management before.”
“Not a bad location, there is always some type of savings on groceries and gas as well. Veggies are fresh, the fish market is somewhat limited and good variety of meats. All in all not a bad shopping experience.”
