“I was here a long time ago when they were struggling. What a beautiful difference! Half of the store is full of beautiful furniture and household goods. The other half is clothing with no thrift store smell! Priced right and extremely well organized. We will be back! They also help folks get into a home of their own and help provide beds for kids. How great is that!”
“My daughter and I visited today for the first time and we are very happy we found this place and can’t wait to go back. We found a variety of items, vintage, second hand and handmade. Our items were very reasonably priced. We were greeted, someone helped us with questions and were very friendly .”
“This was such an amazing experience, I’m really greatful to the people who work here and helped us get a bike for my 10 year old! As someone who doesn’t know anything about cycling it was really intimidating trying to find a good bike that didn’t break the bank. It was the only place we went where we didn’t feel like they were hustling us for money. You can tell they are passionate about what they are doing. I wish I remeber the name of the older gentleman who helped us, but he’s the real deal and I’m so glad people like him are out there in our community helping people like me and spreading the joy of cycling and helping folks who don’t have a ton of extra money be able to enjoy the sport and pass it on to their kids. Thank you so much Ohio city bicycle co-op, you brought so much happiness to my son and my whole family! Highly recommend anyone looking to get into the sport or looking for your kids to stop in here, these guys are the best !”
“Love this thrift store!!! They have a great selection and the prices are overall very good. Especially with the daily sales they have. The staff is always kind and the store is always impressively organized.”

“Great little thrift store. Clothes are a little pricey in comparison to competition but for baby stuff, trinkets, decor, books and media, the prices are amazing. Service is great. Love visiting here when I’m in the area.”
“This place is awesome. The clothes are beautiful and priced correctly. Plus they pay out a lot more than Plato's closet. Plato's closer rips you off.
Go here instead for sure!”
“Laid out well. Found some bargains. Special opening promotion. Had a donut, but no beverage. One give away an hour stinks. Who has the time to stay long to get a chance. Weren't really prepared on time either. Store personnel were pleasant.”
“The Gathering Place (East and West locations) provides incredible supports to families / individuals touched by cancer personally, as caregivers, and for those grieving loss of a loved one due to cancer. Definitely connect with them to identify services and programs to support you and your family in cancer battle. The free in person Cancer Fighting Kitchen cooking classes are amazing opportunities to learn new recipes to support your self and your family in recovery or as working for prevention. There are so many ways they stand beside families in their cancer journey for which our family is incredibly grateful.”
“Good place to go to get cheap secondhand clothing. My grandparents were in a horrific fire and the Salvation Army gave them a voucher to spend here for anything of their choosing. Staff were very helpful and my grandparents walked away with several bags of clothing.”
“Great little thrift store! They have a great selection of used Furniture, Clothes, Books, and household goods and decor. The stock rotates pretty quickly, so you can expect to see new items every couple of weeks. It is actually a Charity shop as well. So all the proceeds go to helping the community! They run a food pantry on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12-2.The Thrift store is open Thursday and Saturday from 9-5.”
“My cousin took me this store about a month and half ago to look some affordable furniture for my bedroom. I seen a nice queen size bed pieces. We come back the about a week ago. It was still there. I got it , then I got the bedroom dresser, an end table, a lamp, A tv stand for my living room, I got my cousin a chair and he loves. My bedroom furniture I love it so much. I got a queen size bed set for an another. It all works out. The people who were there are so nice.”
“Hands down the best thrift store in town. The sticker sales the 50% coupons and holiday sales are my favorite. Plus you get points for shopping to receive money off a future purchase. I love this place!!!!”
“Love Salvation Army. Me and hubby are members of the Massillon Ohio church. Of course, we shop Salvation Army thrift store to give back. Plus this summer we made several donations and happy to do it. Be blessed”
“Since April when the new Volunteers of America opened I have been going to the Brunswick Goodwill and I have started to like the Goodwill store better than the new Volunteers of America. I don't know who is donating clothing, etc. to VA but they are such ugly clothing for men and women, I usually find that the mens and womens clothing in this Goodwill are way nicer.”
“Not a big good will but got the best stuff and found what i wanted and looking for store is clean one one i mainley look for is Cds, Records, And cassette and books and value stuff and music amps and players but this good will got the best stuff and a lot of stuff”
“I met one of the co workers who checked me out. She was very nice, about my age, and a lip piercing. She was awesome, nice, caring, and can tell she’s a genuine person!!! They know how to price their items and it’s a nice place to go for thrifting ?”
“If you can catch them open it's definitely worth stopping here. The problem is the hours they're actually open vs what hours are posted on Google never match.”

“Best Goodwill around IMO. I collect milkglass and they never disappoint. I have even noticed lately they are making more of an effort to keep things tidy. Friendly staff as well!”
“This is my favorite thrift store with a lot of great stuff. I love coming on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays before they open and wait. I usually spend around $100 and have a good time. I mostly look for CDs, cassette tapes, records, DVDs, 8-track tapes, valuable items, music equipment like amps, receivers, and players, tools, and shot glasses from different states. 5 starts bathroom clean too”

“This place always has a good night shift crew, the man is always so nice. They have a good selection and a clean store. They usually have some nicer inventory too. I can always count on a few good finds here and it's usually not overcrowded either which is a huge plus.”
“shoutout to MEL!!! (i think their name was Mel - person working the morning of 7/20 with black curly hair and glasses)
some other person used my phone number to make a savers account years ago, so i’ve never been able to use the self checkout here without getting an employee to come over and verify my phone number. Mel deleted my number from the other person’s account so i won’t have to do that ever again. it’s a very small thing but im super grateful to be able to use the self checkout without employee assistance from now on ?”
“Just so you all know, they close at 6:30 not 7. I thought it’s kind of early to close but hey it’s still a great place to buy clothes. They close half an hour early than listed on google just so you all know.”
“Great prices! They don’t price gouge like the bigger thrift stores like Goodwill do. And it supports a good cause. Check the board by the front door to see which color tags are discounted.”
