The place really shines when it comes to their service. If you have any questions about tools, hardware, paint, building supplies. This is the place to go! Contractors can set-up accounts for employees, or individuals can use cash/card. They carry tons of Milwaukee power tools, hardware, pack-out, hands tools, trade tools. As well as several other name brands. My favorite section is their hardware section. It’s fully stocked 80% of the time and they have EVERYTHING! For all trades and DIY. Metric and SAE”

“So sorry this took me so long. When I went to Airgas it was October 2nd. I had a problem with my oxygen. When opening the valve it made a popping noise and oxygen was escaping. I called Airgas and spoke with Leahbain, she basically diagnosed it over the phone. I traveled to the store to buy an oxygen regulator after speaking with Leahbain and discussing my options and due to the age of my equipment. I purchased a (85801-300-DLX) Torch Kit. Installed just the regulator and the oxygen worked perfectly. Then I installed the other regulator, torch and hoses. Works great right decision.

“The ONLY Harbor Freight I will ever shop at again! Great customer service with knowledgeable, friendly, very helpful staff and a super manager! And they always, always have everything in stock, including all the sale/specials items that the other Harbor Freight stores never seem to have, even on the first day of their sales. And no pressure to join their “Member-Only” club, which the other stores are relentless about. Very clean, well-organized aisles make this location a pleasure to do business with. “We have lived in Berea for over 25 years and when we need some hardware our first thought is to stop at Brown Hardware. They have a large selection and carry not only the usual replacements items but even some unusual ones. We have yet to be disappointed.”
“This is one of the better hardware stores I have been in, and that is saying something because most of the chain stores all start to feel exactly the same after a while. Same layout, same vibe, same experience. This location stands out because it is simply run better, and you can feel that the moment you walk in.
The first thing I noticed was how organized everything is. The aisles are neat, products are stocked in a way that actually makes sense, and it does not feel like you are wandering through chaos trying to find one specific part. Even when you are there for something random or very specific, it is easier to locate what you need because the store is well maintained and clearly managed with attention to detail. It sounds simple, but it makes the whole shopping trip faster and less frustrating.
The staff is another big reason I prefer this location. They are genuinely friendly and approachable, and it feels like they actually want to help rather than just point you toward an aisle and disappear. When you ask a question, you get real help, not attitude. The overall atmosphere is quiet and friendly, which is surprisingly refreshing compared to the loud, hectic feel you get in some big box stores.
I also want to mention the cleanliness because it matters. The bathrooms are clean, and the store overall feels clean and well cared for. That is usually a good reflection of how the place is managed, and it matches the rest of the experience here. Management and customer service are clearly above par. This store feels like it is being run by people who take pride in doing things the right way, not just doing the minimum.
Overall, if you have multiple hardware store options in the area and you are trying to decide where to go, I would recommend this one. It is a little better than the other locations I have been in, mainly because it is organized, friendly, calm, and well managed. It makes a quick stop for supplies feel easy instead of annoying, and that is exactly what a hardware store should be.”

As someone who owns and rehabs old houses, it’s a cool place to shop (or just browse some of the classiest and also weirdest stuff from the past).But, I also tend to have a lot of cool stuff that I’ve removed from houses but had no use for. I brought a bunch of stuff down ( you need to have an appointment first) and the ladies were awesome at inventorying and pricing it and it’s been selling WAY faster and with less hassle to me when I’ve used Craig’s, marketplace, etc.”

Outstanding customer service from these 2 employees and I mean outstanding service. Well mannered and simply delivered! “I was having a rare problem with a new Makita miter saw not cutting straight- made slightly curved cuts. It appeared the rails and blade weren't parallel. Out of warranty, so brought it to Tri- County Power Tool. Everyone was extremely nice and I really appreciated them taking the time to listen and to explain details. They figured out the adjustment to the rails and told me exactly what to do if it happens again. Excellent experience. Very nice to work with good, honest people!”

Had few laughs trying to get them in my car & it just wasn't happening- I took them back into the store, telling them I couldn't fit them in my car and would pick them up tomorrow, the manager asked where I lived and said we will deliver them
