“Such a cute spot to stop by when you're near the park! It's a nice place to get local food gifts for someone. I've had a few of the baked goods and they've all been great. The salami and other preserved meats they have are really great too They tend to have some pretty interesting snacks, spices, and food mixes. Some items can be a bit pricey, but for a treat it's worth it and it feels nice to support a local business and products. The people working have always been friendly too.”
“They have the best produce. There deli section is top notch, always fresh and great prices! If you are a beer drinker, then you definitely need to go. They have a variety of beer that is difficult to find somewhere else.”

“GFS is always clean and well-organized, which makes shopping quick and easy. The aisles are neat, and they offer a wide variety of food products to choose from. However, when it comes to canned goods, it would be great to see more small-size can options available. Prices also feel a little on the higher side compared to other stores. Overall, a good shopping experience with room for small improvements.”

“Excellent selection. On weekends, fresh snack foods from their affiliated restaurant next door are available to purchase in individual quantities. The range of flavored drinks is great; same with the selection of pickled garnishes.
One thing they need to work on: they need to stop spilling the strong pungent spices during in-store transport and contain them better when put out for sale. The entire shop reeks all the time of strong spice smells mixing together. Store it tighter? I don't know the solution, but something needs to be managed with that.”
“Everyone was so helpful and kind! The pharmacist was kind enough to assist me with a ortho seat cushion, and Ms. Joyce was nice enough to share that the cushion I was purchasing was good and should help with my mom's aching bottom! Thanks!”

Complete selection of spices for Indian cooking and the prices were great especially vs Giant Eagle, Acme, Whole Foods who either wouldn’t have it or charge 3x as much for less (cardamom pods for example). Hope our side of the city supports them we were missing this store over here.”
“I showed up to Giant Eagle today to pick up a full sheet cake for my son‘s surprise 21st birthday party which was starting in two hours. Unfortunately, I put his actual birthday down as the day I wanted to pick it up not today which is a week before his birthday. Emmett was in the bakery and they told me “ no problem. I can get that ready for you in 20 minutes!” they were able to get a full sheet cake with a custom photo of my son decorated in 20 minutes while I picked up a few other items. They were calm, friendly and helpful! Emmett is often in that bakery, and I am thankful!!”

“I would like to express my gratitude to Alaina in the produce department. I was looking for fresh cabbage, but a whole cabbage was more than I required. To my pleasant surprise, Alaina at Whole Foods was kind enough to cut and sell me half of a cabbage.
On a previous visit I provided this review.
I am of the opinion that it is entirely possible for food to be both healthy and delicious. The lobster bisque, after some adjustments, was quite enjoyable. Buy the lobster bisque. Further prepare it by adding salt, pepper, white wine, garlic, lemon juice, tarragon, lobster tails (diced), and a slurry to achieve the desired consistency again. Upon completion, it was truly exceptional. Without the adjustments, it had little personality.
Their lemon artichoke soup is a winner. Enhance it by adding a bit of fresh lemon juice, chicken base (bouillon), poultry seasoning, salt snd pepper, and it becomes a wonderfully flavorful soup.
Buy the soups and freeze them. They make a great lunch.
Whole Foods Market provides a wider variety of wholesome food options. I would suggest exploring it. Perhaps you might enjoy the pizza bar.”

“Friendly staff, clean store, fairly well organized. Parking lot and it's spaces poorly planned. Angled spaces would allow for a more fluid Parking lot experience but overall good.”
“My visit occurred late at night; about an hour and a half before closing. The subsequent emptiness in the store that I experienced affects my review. It was pretty empty. But unlike other stores in the hours before closing, this Giant Eagle had a lack of the post apocalyptic desolation vibe that would usually happen at 9pm. Instead, it had an occupied warmth. Employees still walked the aisles and manned their posts with life in their eyes. Nobody likes their public facing job an hour before their shift is over, but these employees hid it really well. Maybe I'm used to seeing people that look like they've given up. Maybe I'm projecting; in truth, does a go getter attitude intimidate me because I'm ashamed of my own poor work ethic? Does a lifeless, hateful type of employee satiate my own ego? These are questions I might muse about as I pluck some semolina flour from the shelf.They have semolina flour! They have a huge cheese selection! They have so many stocked, neat shelves. The store is wonderfully clean and a litmus for what Giant Eagles should feel like.”

“Hands down my favorite Drug Mart of all time. Its the biggest one that I know of and has such a unique and abundant selection. It far out weighs the Kent and Stow locations. They are awesome too mind you, but this one really stands out. You can find most of what you are looking for here. Much like a little mini Walmart.
