“I shop at this location frequently. I always rely on one person to help me, his name is David in the nursery. I have bought several different shrubs at different times. He was always very helpful and friendly. He recommended Biotone fertilizer and I’ve really noticed a difference. He has gone out of his way to help me, even helping me with perennials. When I’ve asked about annuals he’s even taken the time to show me everything I need with them also! Petitti’s is lucky to have such a great employee that is interested in customer’s needs. “We’ve gotten literally tons of material from Savarino brothers. Last year pea gravel for our outdoor fenced in garden. I think the leaf humus this year is incredible if you’re looking to fill or amend garden beds. So far this year 8 yards leaf humus, 4 yards black mulch, soon some rough cut wood chips. And I’m going to mix more humus into our garden beds. Just go and look before you order, or make sure you get the right thing for your use. Screened soil is not leaf humus, so different stuff for different uses.”

They took care of setting everything up, the person who installed was prompt, professional and did an excellent job on the installation. “The size of Kollman's from the road is deceiving, it just doesn't look that big when you drive by.
It's a lot bigger than you imagine and has a wide variety of perennials, garden plants, annuals and tropical plants.
It's no frills, the buildings have been around for many decades.
There is a restroom available, but you have to walk about a hundred yards to the red barn to get to it.
The plants are healthy.

“I never write reviews, but I absolutely HAVE to because of how helpful the staff in this department was!! Went to the store today looking for a pair of long nose pliers to help dislodge something that got stuck in a trumpet pipe. Couldn't find what I was looking for and asked for help. Long story short, I ended up in the rental department and the guys there helped me get it out with their own tools. I cannot thank you enough for your help today!! They quite literally saved me from spending HUNDREDS in repairs! I absolutely recommend this place, the staff are genuinely great people”
“We were so happy when the Bath store opened and we were in for a pleasant surprise. We are seniors with mobility issues. We searched high and low for a new Christmas tree to meet our needs and finally found what we needed at Petitti's. Big decision for a number of reasons. Mr. Petitti was so kind, helpful and we must say very patient as we were trying to decide. The tree is absolutely beautiful. We did have a slight problem setting it up and called the store. Not only was Laurie helpful but she assured us she would take care of any problem we might have. It was an easy fix. The staff is always pleasant and goes out of their way to help with what we need. We also found the prices very competitive with sales and incentives. Thanks everyone. Welcome to the neighborhood!”

“I looked online for an electric blanket! It said they had 3 so I went over there and so the cashier called one of the workers to get it. Well it was on one of the pallets so while I was waiting thinking he was getting it down, another worker walking by me asked if I needed help! I told him what I was looking for he looked up the isle and took me over there. Well the first guy was up on the lift! He cut the plastic, and said yea well it’s not here! So the worker who took me over (Joe) said it’s 3 on that pallet the other guy said it’s burred under all that stuff ! So the kind worker (Joe) stepped in and said I’ll get it for you I just need a spotter! I was so grateful for Joe he went above and beyond to help! I’m retired military!! And he was kind enough to help me. Thanks Joe I really appreciate it.”

“The store was busy and I had to wait a few minutes before I could be assisted. However, Jason in the lumber department let me know what was going on and that he would be with me asap. It only took a few minutes before he returned and not only helped answer all my questions but also gave me different tips and suggestions for what I was doing. He ended up showing me the discount lumber, which is what I ended up getting. Thank you Jason.”

“Even at the end of the season they still had a great selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials. They had a European tricolor beech tree which I am not used to seeing anywhere and was thrilled to come across it here. If you're used to shopping at Big Box stores you might find them a bit pricey - but you're paying for quality and selection. They also have an impressive selection of seasonal decor and pottery. Can't wait to check them out again around the holidays!”
