2339 Gallia St, Portsmouth“The store is much nicer than it used to be years ago, and all employees were friendly and helpful. The store was well stocked, and meats were very fresh. Would shop there again.”

1735 8th St, Portsmouth“Always walking in to a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are eager to help you find what your looking for or even get your order themself. They go out of their way to make sure your wearing a smile by the time you leave. The shelves are always stocked the produce fresh and prices everyone can afford.”

2926 Scioto Trail, Portsmouth“Staff have always been friendly. Sometimes they don't wanna chat but I make them talk to me. By the time my interaction with them is over we are both laughing.”
“They close at 4 PM. They have a big parking lot that is well lit for overnight parking. Backing into the dock Might be a little awkward for a new person but it’s easily doable. Unless you have to go to the warehouse down the street. That was fun easy for a seasoned driver but a new person may have trouble. Very nice people fast unloading.”
“Good prices and friendly employees, but like all other general dollar stores I've shopped at, it's not quite big enough for a wheelchair to maneuver easily.”

811 Gay St, Portsmouth“This is a huge Kroger! The employees are always working very diligently and always very nice and helpful. However, I think possibly because we MAY have a FEW less than savory customers in our area, the store itself always looks “rode hard and put away wet,” with dingy floors and random stinky odors. The restrooms are really run down, often dirty and stink like an old barn. Shopping carts are often strewn all over the parking lot. Anytime the store gets busy, you better find your own cart somewhere out in the lot. The inside of the front entry is often cruddy looking too. Maybe if it were filled up with carts, we wouldn’t see that as easily. Anyway, this is a mostly good store with good people working inside. I just think the hotsie totsies higher up in the company need to pay better attention. Don’t blame the people that are there. Let go of a few dollars and hire some more help to keep things tidy. I mean, Kroger prices are high enough, I think we should be able to expect a clean store. A manager recently gave me the sob story of “we can’t find people to work.” I’ll just never completely believe that.”

811 Gay St, Portsmouth“Kroger management and their employees are great. I live across the bridge and I do my grocery shopping there. If you need anything someone at the self checkout will get someone for you. Or someone is usually standing behind the checkout lines who can help. The pharmacy is great also !”

811 Gay St, Portsmouth“Kroger here in Portsmouth has friendly staff. The staff here are always helpful and manage to keep everything stocked. The gas prices are good. It may be a little hard to find a parking spot though.”
“Clean, reasonable, had Gelato!!!!! Even house plants! Cheaper groceries these days is a life saver! Not a lot cheaper, but certainly more affordable than Kroger or Wal-Mart.”
