“I recently decided to do a major living room remodel before my upcoming hysterectomy surgery, and I was really excited about some furniture I ordered from World Market. About two weeks after placing the order, I woke up and checked my email, expecting to see delivery updates. Instead, I found several emails saying my orders had been canceled.
Needless to say, I was pretty upset. It was the first thing I saw that morning, so I immediately called the Polaris location to find out what was going on. Dallas, one of the managers, answered the phone, and I can’t say enough good things about how she handled the situation.
She already knew exactly who I was and what I was calling about. She explained that she had actually been trying to reach me but wasn’t able to leave a voicemail. Apparently, there can sometimes be issues with online orders placed using a newly opened World Market credit card, and in some cases, orders are mistakenly canceled even though the items have already shipped.
Thankfully, Dallas had been proactive and had my furniture set aside and on hold at the store while waiting to hear from me. What started as a very frustrating morning turned into a huge relief.
Dallas was patient, professional, and incredibly kind throughout the entire conversation. She took the time to explain everything clearly and apologized for the confusion, even though the cancellation emails weren’t her fault. I really appreciated her effort to communicate with me and make sure my order was taken care of.
I usually don’t answer phone numbers I don’t recognize, but after this experience, I may have to start! LOL. Thank you, Dallas, for your excellent customer service and for turning a stressful situation into a positive one. I really appreciate you! Thank you. 😊”
“Favorite home store I’ve ever been to in Columbus! SO many cute Knick knacks…you could find a unique gift for almost anyone you know in here. I’ll be back anytime I’m in search of a wedding/birthday/special gift. I really had to limit myself because I could have easily bought a dozen items! Also, plenty of affordable items and I didn’t feel ripped off like I do in some similar stores.”
“My comfort store. They receive new items everyday so no matter how many times you go, there will always be something new to look at. My favorite item are these modern matchbooks with pictures on each side. They were completely sold out last time I went. Hopefully the vendor restocks soon 🙂”

“My husband and I wanted something unique for our home office as we work from home often. My husband loves a standup desk and I wanted a sit down. We each bought a desk and two file cabinets each. We live in Canada so there were a few logistics that Andy had to arrange for us - he made it so easy which was greatly appreciated. He followed up throughout the process and after the delivery. Unfortunately 4 file cabinets got dinged by the transport company and Andy was right on taking care of it. We just received the new cabinets today and they are ding free. Not only do we love this furniture but all our friends comment on how unique it is and the quality. We have recommended our friends buy Caretta. “I have not been to Kirkland in years because years ago the products did not align with my taste. That is no longer true - I love it! It is similar to Pier 1 which I also really liked.Customer service was exceptional! The ladies that were working greeted me, were upbeat and friendly. After checking on me they continued working, cleaning, fixing a loose leg on a chair, putting out merchandise and making sure all the customers that wanted help had it.The store was neat, clean, organized and the displays were very attractive. I was looking for piece of artwork that I saw online and I wanted to see in person prior to purchasing. They didn't have it in the store because it was an online special but I was glad I had stopped in.I especially like the decorating amd practical items they carry for coffee drinkers. Also, had some cute bread boxes. There are so many items that I would suggest everyone stop in and check it out”

“Large and full of many options. Great place for those looking for holiday or birthday gifts! I also purchased a couple soap dispensers for our bathroom, which I think will work well. The wait in line wasn't too bad, for being holiday season, and the cashiers were very approachable and kind. The only negative I experienced was that some of the aisles are snug for their carts, which is a little frustrating. Strongly recommend.”
