Saw a lot of bad reviews for this post office and have had a bad experience myself in the past but at least they have a couple competent people now.”
“first time mailing and overseas package and Eric was very helpful and detailed in explaining the customs form. long line/wait time due to it being a weekend before the holidays and there being only one postal worker in the entire building so factor that into your plans if you're planning to go.”
“Local post office with small town feel. It's not usually busy and the self serve kiosk is available to process the package. The clerk is friendly and expedites your package fast.”
“I think those leaving 1 star reviews complaining of staff disrespectful or unhelpfulness are bringing it on themselves. If you treat the employees kindly and with respect even when they don’t have the answer you’re looking for it’s doubtful they will disrespect you in return. The location and post office are struggling with staffing, technology, processes, etc. Try asking the employee how their day is going and being a friendly happy human to those at work - you’ll walk away feeling better even if you didn’t get your mail!”
“I never had a problem with Delaware Post Office. I lived in Delaware county 30 years. Individuals are professional in during their job well. They do need a new location; larger building since Delaware is growing. The parking can be very scarce at times. Need more handicap parking.”
“I needed some stamps for my wedding invitations. Carmen was super helpful explaining that it was a good idea to get them weighed so I knew it had the right postage on them, and showed me the different stamp options that would look nice for invitations. When I came back with the invitations, Brenda was so nice. She explained how much postage it needed & even asked how many I had so we could get the right number of stamps. I don't usually have a lot of mail to send so I really appreciated everyone's patience with my questions. These guys really made my day.”

“Robin was helpful. There was a short wait where the bell wasn't heard. She was apologetic (unnecessary) and mindful that she may have not heard the bell. I appreciated the quick and knowledgeable service. There was also a clerk the other day who mentioned a transition in roles to where being at the front was new again. I appreciated the insight as it allowed me to be patient within the circumstance. Good USPS location.”
“This is not a retail location. I went there to pick up my held mail. I had my doubts that one ring of the bell would be sufficient for service, but someone did come in a short time. He was very friendly and let me use one of their bins to transport all of my packages to my car, which I really appreciated.”

“If you are looking to get Fingerprints done here, look elsewhere. THIs Post Office which is nearest to my house has internet problems, which they don't know how to fix at this point, went back 3 different times and they had the same issue their internet was not working!”

I've been going into post office since I was 8 years old and this was actually the best customer service I've ever received. I think every post office needs a Zac.”
