“This is more than a convenience store, but smaller than a grocery store. Easy in and out in a quick manner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I stop in almost everytime I go by. Support local business and stop by. You'll be glad You did. The prices are very reasonable especially factoring in the convenience aspect.”
“Best place to shop for cheaper staples, and some of their snacks and things are actually better than name brands. Only issue is how understaffed this store stays, so there are always long lines at peak hours and I always feel bad for the staff that is there having to deal with cranky customers who've waited in long lines. Otherwise a great place to shop that saves me quite a bit on the grocery bills.”
“I appreciate having a store like this so close. Much better than any of the corner chains when it comes to grocery products. Has most of the bare essentials. Or you can grab a bite from their cooler and eat at the counter. Staff is always nice. Store is never crowded.”
“Love this place my friend has ms and had check that needed cashed and Jack let us come through drive thru cuz he has trouble walking and that ment the world to us cuz even though they are wheelchair accessible it's just so hard for him to get in and out of vehicle and Jack is so understanding and everyone that works there always nice would rather drive across town to come there than go to drive thru by my house. Thank you again for understanding and caring”
“Very nice store in a great location. If you're buying bulk in the Marion area, this is the place to be. Otherwise, most prices are comparable with other nearby vendors. The staff are always very friendly and helpful at this store. They'll always take time to answer questions or help you find what you're looking for. And the store is always clean and stocked very well. The only downside is (and GFS has no control over this but) the store is located at an intersection inside a shopping center. Drivers ingnore the stop sign and speed past the entrance all day so be careful when entering and exiting the store.”
“The cashier lady was very friendly and helpful she was an older woman ? I almost forgot to add they have a lot more merchandise than you'd think! Way better than a gas station, cleaner and cheaper .Go check it out today, you won't be disappointed...like the mom n pop stores growing up this is definitely one of those .....”
“Stopped in for gas in the Harley today. I've been here before but been a long time. The gas prices are fair considering the location. They are old school gas pumps. No credit card reader, have to leave your card then pump gas. The store has all the essentials you'd need if you lived in New Bloomington. Good selection of beers and everything. They have deli items but the selection was limited. Looked like maybe 5-6 kinds of cheese, but only bologna and ham for meat selections. Nice little store, and the girl running the cash register was friendly.”
“Didn't know this store was even in Marion, recieved a gift card to show there, and was impressed at the store, easy to get around, wasn't as crowded as I expected, easy to get around and to find items you need there, would certainly shop there again in the future”
“Kroger Fuel Center is a convenient and reliable place to fill up. The pumps are easy to use, and I always appreciate how quick and efficient the experience is. Plus, the prices are competitive, often lower than many other gas stations in the area, which makes it a great option for saving a bit on fuel.
The location is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly whenever I stop in for any other quick needs, like snacks or drinks. If you’re a Kroger shopper, you can even earn fuel points, making it even more rewarding to fill up here. Highly recommend it for a hassle-free and budget-friendly fueling experience!”
“After having knee replacement surgery, I went in to do some shopping. Manger Kate asked if I needed some help. I told her what I needed and showed her the app. Kate when and got the items I was looking for for me. Thank you for the help.”
“I have been a customer here for a while since moving to Marion. I’ve seen the store go through several changes, some for the better some the worst. There has always been employees that shined through as actually caring and Rich at the Southern Marion Ohio location is a great example of a great employee. He has went out of his way for us as customers on more than one occasion. If it were up to me I believe he deserves a raise. Thank you for your due diligence and customer centric nature!”
“Noah the cashier was super friendly, it’s nice to have a friendly face in public places. Store was clean and organized and witness store associates helping others as I was passing through.”
“Newly opened Dollar General location. Grand Opening in August 2024. They have a wide selection of items from groceries, snacks, pop to kitchen utensils, cards, and decorations. Dropped by to check the place out and grab a drink and some snacks. The front counter associate was very friendly. Prices are pretty comparable to the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar in LaRue. Just hope this place doesn't shut down the gas station just down the road.”
“Going to Kroger is like going back in time for groceries. They may not be the cheapest in town but it’s much more pleasant if you just need groceries. The bakery is amazing. The deli is pretty good too. Now when it comes to home goods or hygiene items you would be better off going to any other supermarket.”
“Amazing selection. We do a lot of Mexican cooking - and assumed finding ingredients in Marion would be challenging. This place was a pleasant surprise - the selection rivaled the stores we loved in New Mexico and Texas! And super friendly staff. We will be back.”
“Very friendly staff, shelves were full considering the freight slowdown from the pandemic. I was actually able to get everything on my list. By far my favorite DG in Marion.”
“Some prices are higher but you can always count on being able to get a money order here! Some gas stations don't offer them and the ones that do act like there are only certain people "trained" on how to sell money orders. If those certain people aren't available then you'll be turned away! Never at this place though.”

“This is my daily and weekly grocery store it’s just next home. This store has the basics, good products but I wish it has variety of groceries like the kroger market place, also customers service in western union desk the personnel should be fully trained especially sending money to other countries when the customers mention I want it in the local currency it should be like that not just saying USD it’s fine and I’m explaining why it’s not fine:1). Many countries do not have large amounts of USD in the pick up area and what happens is the receivers may pay more for services or have to wait a little longer as a week or more to get the money. Now why I like this store:1). Has a clinic.2). Pharmacy.3). Bakery.Basically the basics that you need. That’s why we are rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We were going to rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but we have to be fare, customer service catchiers etc. they do a good job, about the western union it’s all about communication and a bit of training however they where friendly and happy to help.”
“Very cluttered with too much stuff all over the floors. Very friendly and helpful staff. Found a nice birthday card and was happy with it. Seems smaller than most of the ones I've been in before. I'll probably be back for something else.”
“The employeeshere are really nice and always helpful. They keep it pretty clean and it's always organized. They post really good deals on a local Facebook group, tell people what's going on as far as sales and upcoming closures. It's a great store with a great staff!”
