“Hometown feel but a little pricy on some things, The drive thru is an inconvenience. Could have just made it a walk in just like Buhlers. Who approved the bathrooms? There's no way a person in a wheelchair is going to be able get their chair in there and shut the door. But the employees are very friendly everyone is very kind. The store is clean. Still has the best Bakery . My biggest concern is accessibility that drastically changed. A drive thru in the middle of the parking lot surrounded by handicap parking thats an accident waiting to happen.”

“Was looking through my reviews in my hometown of New London and realized I have never reviewed Millers. I worked here for 5 years a long loong looooong time ago. (Let's not do the math on how long ago) I will always remember the amazing atmosphere.. the great coworkers.. and my ridiculous boss telling me that a full shelf is a happy shelf.. Still one of my favorite jobs I ever had. They have a good selection of stuff to buy too. ;D”

So those of you who stopped going because of the Additudes of the PREVIOUS CASHIERS and MANAGEMENT THEY ARE ALL GONE!!! 😌 New Owners since 2016 are Awesome with Wonderful Additudes to be dealing with the Public.!! “It's been awhile since I stopped in at the Dollar General store on Claremont Ave in Ashland,OH.
Kathy and I had a package to drop off for return via FedEx. Two of the employees there, Alishe and Lin actually came out to the car to carry the box in for us. It weighed about 17 lbs. I told them that I could easily get that but they wouldn't hear of it. We followed them into the store so that we could get the return process taken care of. One of the things that struck me the most as we walked in the store was how nice and neat and orderly everything looked. To be quite honest I've been in a number of Dollar generals before and they were to say the least a bit dumpy looking. Not this one. These ladies take extra care to make sure their store is neat and presentable. We could not have asked for more efficient and more helpful ladies to take care of us. I hope corporate sees this and decides to stop in and see for it for themselves.
They really do deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. And on top of that, their energy is amazing!”

“The ladies who work there are always really polite. It's nice to have a store closer than Mansfield or Ashland if I find I need something quickly. They don't always have milk in stock, I've not asked why, but I haven't had an issue with them not having anything else so far.”
“I'm new to area and stopped in there one evening just by chance and have been back a couple more times. Staff was friendly and nice every time, something I've noticed is a bit hard to find around here. Anyhow, good place for lottery tickets and cigs were much cheaper here than other places. I am making this my regular stop from now on.”

Staff are incredibly friendly this is such a welcoming store and environment, you'll spend less than you think you will which was a pleasant surprise considering how many items we had gotten
A previous reviewer was not misleading with their photo angles- this place is packed with all kinds of goodies, there's even places to sit both inside and out to eat ice cream or their deli meals/fresh coffee I cannot recommend this store enough”
