    “Nice store……however today the short man that handles money orders, check cashing etc had a VERY NASTY disposition for no reason. I called to verify if they cashed checks. He said yes, so I went to the store. I gave him my signed check and ID. He gave me my check back and I asked why. He pointed to a sign stating check had to be signed in front of him?!?!?! OK, at 45 years old and have always signed back of checks since I was 18 (as we’re all taught) so I’m confused. I explained I wasn’t aware since this was my first time in the store. I asked him to look at my drivers license and the signature and he can see they match. He stepped back, sat down on his stool and nastily said he will not help me. I expressed that he was treating me like a criminal. He just gave me a dirty look. I walked off and he said “have a nice day”. At this point I was so insulted and mad I yelled “f— you” and left.I don’t care how good I’ve been told the food is I will NEVER set foot in that store again.”

    “I had the good fortune to be helped by 2 of the employees at the market. Jason and Christian were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the produce. They introduced me to Sugar Cube melons. They taste similar to cantaloupe but so much sweeter. They also picked me out not one, but two huge watermelons that were juicy and actually very sweet. And then a couple weeks later I had the pleasure to meet Brian, the store manager who was also friendly and helpful in picking out another really sweet 🍉. Thank you.”

    “Thanks for a great experience! I love Heinen's grocery stores! I was on a dry run to locate a salon my stylist is transferring to. I spotted the Heinen's and enjoy there bakery. A kind gentleman employee shared where to find it, and very a nice young lady in the bakery assisted me with locating a chocolate croissant it was not the chocolate filled one, but the chocolate drizzled one was delicious, cashier was kind and helpful too! Great phenomenal dream team of employees!”

    “I like this little store as they carry a lot of different products. It's very clean, neat and orderly. It used to be very close for me as I worked around the corner, but now that I've retired, it's half an hour away from me. The prices tend to be higher then one of the larger Asian grocery stores in Cleveland. Some of the produce is in larger bundles which makes it expensive for a single person living on a fixed income. I was surprised by the owner's reaction when I asked for a smaller package of baby bok choy. I felt like she thought I was being ridiculous. I usually spend at least $30-$40 every time I come here. I always buy a big jar of kimchi and other staples.”

They have most of the basic groceries - produce, breads, dairy, meats, seafood, canned goods, beer & wine, and more - at lower prices than the other stores. They also have several sections of specialty items - housewares, toys, clothing, etc. - that changes regularly. You never know what you might find. Bring a quarter to unlock the shopping cart (you'll get it back) and bring your own bags. The employees are friendly and helpful. It isn't a superstore, so there are a few items you won't find there - that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But for the money, you're better off getting most of what's on your list at Aldi's.”

When my friend approached a nearby employee and asked about a price for an item that this particular employee had just gotten done stocking. She just kept saying "it's right there. It's right there" and pointed in the general direction of the iiem he had asked about. This particular item was in the cooler, he finally found the marker... the tag was on the floor inside the cooler half under the rack”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
