βVery helpful workers. At least 2 or 3 employees were helping my grandchildren shop. The employees were showing them things, giving suggestions all with great patients. As busy as it was the workers were very kind and patient.β
βI find good deals at this store. It's a bit busy, and not enough cashiers. I can say the same about Walmart, so in comparison Gabe's was better. The cashiers were pretty friendly, not like some of the reviews I've read here. With the holidays, consumers can expect a longer than normal checkout. I thought the cashiers were courteous, and kept lines moving well. I'm doing more shopping here.β
βBeen going to Save a Lot for several years and will never stop. They have good products for the most part, a clean store, and good personnel. Addition, 08/31. Needed hamburger, but had to go to another store because the packs on display had more fat than meat. Every pack was disgusting. Shame on this store for trying to sell vile product.β
βHad a great shopping experience. The store was fully stocked and clean. Plenty of workers stocking the shelves and stepping up when the line was long. They do not have helium at this time. Checkout was extremely fast and Carol was fun to shoot the breeze with.Product review: these pizza crusts are awesome! The markers work well for garage sale signs!β

βThe power was out and there was no way to use card. I got like $200 worth of stuff in my cart and then went out to find an ATM but not a single one in the area was working. I was going to come back and put my stuff away so the employees didn't have to but my ride got here and would not let me go back inside! I am so sorry! The employees were all so friendly and I feel terrible!β
βMy family has come here for years for our pharmacy needs. Holly is an amazing pharmacist & was able to help us feel comfortable through COVID-19 with our boosters. She always brings light & is knowledgeable about all products/ interactions so my family can feel safe. I plan to put my trust in her for years to come!β

βNice way to spend a sunny Spring Sunday by walking the 15 minutes over to the Cleveland St. bisiness district, and barging around aisle by aisle. You'll always find something you need (or at least find useful or pretty).β
βThe best place to buy munchies before you catch a flight, the best place to get decorative wrapping paper, decorative boxes, craft stuff, utensils for the kitchen, scrubbies to wash the dishes with, party stuff, batteries, toothbrushes. Dollar Tree's prices are often even cheaper than Walmart's.β

βAaron , is a great hire for the store. I came in I was greeted and I felt welcomed. He knew where everything was. Another time I came in the cashier just looked at me and didnt say anything at all. When I noticed Aaron wasn't there I left. When he was there I actually had a pleasant experience shopping. When Aaron was cashing me out he told me how much I saved shopping there it was actually a lot . I was very surprised but happy to know that. Other cashiers dont share that information with you.. βIt was great found everything we needed my wife thought that it was a lot neater and the one on Meister Road they had a pretty big variety of things to choose from so you might be able to find what you're looking for on this location I believe well worth stopping by and checking it out what could it hurt you might find a bargain after all it is Dollar General my apologies guys I didn't have time to take pictures I was too focused on my mission to find what I was looking forβ
βI've lived right by Drug Mart my whole life and ever since I was a kid every experience I've had there was GREAT!! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome. The cashiers always greet you with a smile and make you feel like family. Drug Mart is one of the best stores in the whole city of Lorain!β

I work late so at times I have been there 10 min before closing and never rushed. Although I am respectful and quickly get what I need and make it to the checkout with time to spare. Other stores are locking their doors and telling you to hurry on their loudspeaker when there is 30 till close. Talk about giving people anxiety.
Like all shopping you must DYOR. Some items can be more expensive and some cheaper.
Everything went up price wise, thanks to inflation, your buddies you voted for and minimum wage hike but @ Save-a-lot you still find a lot of food on the cheap.
I did have to quit A1 sauce because it's not cheap anywhere ($7 a bottle!).
There are tips:
Everyone should be onto the tube ground meat by now. You get 50% less meat and you are straining the rest (grease/fat/$) out. (hopefully not down your drain!)
Same with some frozen beef/filler patties when compare to others. They will be on fire ? in seconds, dripping grease,, nearly impossible to grill and not burn.
Buy the fresh ground meat and spend a little more and you will get more.
Test it out yourself: make idk... beef stroganoff or ?. Brown 2lb fresh and 2lb of tube beef.
You get coupons with your receipts sometimes, so use them.
The fresh chicken wings are always cheaper than others but...be careful they always seem to have access blood that will leak out the clear wrapper in your car if not careful ?. It happens everywhere tho, something like a phenomenon. It is the no bag thing that can be more noticeable. This Save-a-lot is a bonus here. You can wash your reusable bags if it does leak. Giant Eagle bags can not save you from the leak either, so dont try a 1-up on my post.?
I take them home, wash them re wrap and take out fridge next day and there is chicken fluid again. Maybe they keep the chickens hydrated ?.

My only I wish ?is if you could please cut your steaks to a butchers proper 1- 1/2 inch thickness (at least 1in). ?
Nothing pains me more than a thin overcooked steak or a thin medium rare steak and hot coals leftover. Charcoal isn't cheap. It is by weight and I have been in the store with another thick steak hunter going through the packaged meats to find the thickest of the bunch. Staring eye to eye at each other and eachothers gone through stash, hoping they missed one close enough to the specs your looking for. Ready to pounce on that thick porterhouse before the other customer can see what you just uncovered from the corner of their eye and snatch it from the pile. The steak warz are real.?β
βMarcs has the beautiful flowers and plants out for fantastic prices! Nice variety to choose from, especially the vegetable seedlings. Put them in my garden and they are healthy and thriving. Would definitely purchase more from them in the future.β

βThe weekly sale started 2 days ago, and it was 5/$5 Crush, Schweppes, Mug, and Starry. There was not a single bottle available today, when I asked the very nice clerk she said that it was due to the vendor. That's very sorry business to say the least. Before you think about trying to attract wealthier clients, work on running a worthy store chain!β
