“Had a dead battery on Sunday. Showed up first thing Monday morning at Ulmer’s in Loveland, Ohio and not only did they squeeze me into a full slate of repair appointments to diagnose the issue, they also fixed it including honoring a warranty on a 2 year old battery purchased from the previous Marcotte repair shop. Will definitely go back for any other repairs we need in the future and would highly recommend Ulmer’s.”
“I've been to a couple different auto repair places in town and this one takes the crown for sure.
After taking on the oil pan repair myself, I messed up my oil filter cooler, which resulted in a small leak, and then a very large leak. I had to get it towed, and a friend of mine recommended R&M. I called them, and although they couldn't make it work at first, they called me back after rearranging their schedule and got me in.
They worked on the car as soon as it got there, and was done by noon the next day. I had the part already coming my way, and it arrived earlier which really helped the process.
They were honest, forward, and a great price. Probably the cheapest I've ever had to spend for a repair like this.
Overall, I highly recommend. Don't forget to tip your technician either, they're very grateful.”
“I will start with the name fits them 100 percent went there because I was quoted by a shop wright next door to them for 1300$. Which after checking the parts they were quoting me they were at 8+ times the cost of the best brand . Then when quoted wasn't even those parts at all to stop the noise. Once intercity gave me a quote fixed it were even honest to say my car did not need an alignment . Total cost was 250$ . And my vehicle is running perfect proceeded with bringing him another vehicle which also there honesty about what my vehicle needed and worth fixing or not . Nick and all there staff are definitely the best also fixed my gear shift I had changed two things on it still not working took it to them and he didn't give up till he found the problem fixed it and went as low as he could for the time he spent on it. The knowledge of his technicians I can without a doubt say are the best i have come across. Will never pick anyone else. There knowledge cost and very great personalities will be my mechanics no where else to look. Ty nick and you staff”

“I had my car towed to their lot because it just died in the middle of the road. I had never done business with Hometown but they were right across the street from where I worked. They ran the tests on the car and let me know the problem and the options for repair. The car was my husband's work car so we didn't own it. I really couldn't make the decision on what to do. The actual owner lives out of state now so communicating was very difficult. (Owner lives in Florida...hurricanes you know) so it's taken me way too long to get the mess resolved. After letting the Dan's what was going on... they were so very understanding. They have let the car sit taking up valuable space. They were always super nice and very patient with me. I honestly am very thankful!! Most businesses wouldn't have even considered letting me take this long!
The least I could do was let people know they are good people”

They also took a look at my brakes, as they were squealing, and found nothing wrong to hinder the functioning of them. They didn't charge me for inspecting my brakes either. Very friendly and they had my car done in less than 30 minutes.”

Halt auto has been honest, prompt, and made repairs at better than OEM dealership costs, and not sold me on stuff that while may need to be addressed, isn't keeping my car from safely getting me from point a to point b.

“Today 11/4/2025 Sarah Kein helped me and she deserves to be shouted out. She was sweet from the moment I walked though the door. She made my anxious heart at ease. Being a girl sometimes can be scary walking into a place like this but having another women there made me feel like I would not be taken advantage of and she would talk to me honestly. I had a nail in my tire and she gave me different options on what I could do. I even saw her walk out and look at the tire herself so I knew when she told me it was unfixable she wasn't lying to me to sell my something. I also watched her help multiple people while doing other office things in between and he kept her sweet spirit, Never made anyone feel like they were not her most important customer. “been coming here for years. used to be Summeral Tire until bought by AAA. well equipped and staffed to handle most repairs and just not tires. Appointment generally needed but they handle emergencies well. Work done efficiently and at fairly reasonable prices. they have both a free tire inflation station and an EV charger but both seem to be regularly broken. small, bare waiting area”
