“I don't know why I decided to review this now because I've banked here for about 40 years or more( I'm 41- not!) Anyway, I'll show this a little love- and I do mean little. I banked at Huntington before and didn't care for the service , but that was a billion years ago and I can't say anything now. Wesbanco has an entitled attitude. It's nothing personal, just the vibe. When I wanted to move some of my cash to another savings I just withdrew an amount that I guess I looked like I couldn't possibly have access too. A new girl looked at me like I might be a criminal and asked to see my ID. I didn't mind that because I want them to be cautious with my money but the look- that was kinda unnecessary. Their online account app is easy to use and although they offer very few perks or interest accumulation they do offer free notary assist and I've needed that in the past. I haven't left so that says something I guess. I prefer smaller businesses that I am comfortable with and overall I have had great service.”

I went to the Bechtle location to make a deposit. I was quickly seen and welcomed with a smile. The lady was patient and very helpful. The office is clean, modern and comfortable. I had my banking business completed in very little time. I also use WPCU for their investment advice through the CUSO services. I have also had good experiences there as well. “Can’t understand all the bad reviews. I’ve banked with them for years and always had a positive experience. Yes they are somewhat outdated but have recently joined the tech ouch with online banking ect and it’s always worked for me. They are not flashy but everyone knows me by name giving it the “cheers” atmosphere. Jeff R. Does a great job and you are not just a number to them. Years ago yes you could just call and get them to answer but times do change and I’m not aware of any branch you can just call and get an answer unless your calling a call center. Don’t be afraid to bank with them.”
