Grocery Stores in Stow, OH

“I’m leaving this review for Jacob. I was shopping tonight. It had been a long day with me and my baby shes six month old Everybody beeps for different reasons when they walk in and out of that store I know I have a coach bag and that could be because they have something inside the material and I’ve beat them other places with this back I beeped when I went in the store I even also took something in the store. I had two items that I was returning I was gonna return, the jacket and get a different size but I didn’t want to gift card and I didn’t have a receipt for it because my sister had got it for me and it we always shop at the store, so she never had the buzzard taken off of it. I just returned a comforter set. I was just at the front desk customer service if I was stealing, I would’ve never stopped at the door as I’m walking out, I beep there’s a light skin girl with glasses. I told her I said I don’t know why I’m beeping. She comes over and immediately starts asking me did you purchase anything? I said it could be the clothes cause I wasn’t sure cause I wasn’t paying attention. She immediately has my receipt in her hand and she’s looking at my bags which that is not her job to do. Her job is not to look in my bags or even stop me at the door but she did she persist to go over to where you take the buzzard off and looks at my receipt and immediately says this isn’t on the receipt. OK I’m not a Fee if that’s what you’re thinking you didn’t ask me all that I’m tired. I’ve had a long day of my baby at the doctors. With her ear infection on top of working all day so immediately grabbed the jacket takes my buzzard off and I think temper that because sometimes people just don’t wanna deal with that it’s been a long day nobody’s gonna steal a $30 Columbia jacket seriously but shot out to Jacob for making my night a little easier we need more employees on the floor and stores I had already paid for everything that was in my buggy Everything was in bags had a buzzard on it one thing. ?‍♀️?‍♀️ that’s why people don’t like shopping at stores anymore. That makes people feel uncomfortable then you got a lot of harassment going on people following me around the stores that was unacceptable from that employee because truth be told she had no right because she didn’t know anything or my situation and then she asked Jacob. What did he want her to do? What do you mean, what is there to do? I was going to get a different size jacket. I just decided not to buzzards all the time, but not meaning to. It’s not on purpose. I hope that employee that stopped me and wanted to take time out of her night to see if I was stealing polishes up You don’t treat customers that way you don’t. I stop smelly at the door for a reason after I stopped she should’ve took one good. Look at my receipt and said go ahead, ma’am. but she did not thank you for not making my night, so so bad and understanding and making it simple. You’re good at your job. I seen you at the front desk at customer service helping a couple with a double charge on the credit card. You’re definitely good at what you do. ????❤️❤️❤️❤️?????️ You clearly don’t get enough credit words do, but I will give Give it to you because it’s the small things that mattered to people And I had my baby with me and it’s a blizzard outside. Roads are bad people want to get home.”

“Great store! Everything is well organized, clean and clutter free, better than the rest in the area. They have great variety too. Owners are friendly and helping find us what we need”

“There are a lot of good Giant Eagles in Akron and the surrounding cities. This is the best that I have found. The selection is very good. But more importantly, the customer service is excellent. It has become my new regular grocery store.”

“Wow! Called customer service to ask about a product. Turns out they don't have it but the lady is going to call 2 other stores for me and call me back! Now that is good customer service!! I didn't think any place would do that any more for customers. Very nice!”

“Overall, I really like Aldi, but it's impossible to be the only grocery store you go to :/, especially if you have dietary restrictions. Great prices though! I especially love their gluten free brand "Live GFree" everything from it that I've had has been great, but Aldi doesn't always have all the items in store (haven't seen gluten free bagels in months :/ )”

“We stopped in to buy some random groceries that we needed... no problem there, they had all the vegetables, dairy products, and bread we needed. The reason I am writing this is their wine. We walked by and took a look at their rather wide selection and found some real gems. We found quite a few really nice bottles that were selling for about 50% off the expected price. On top of that we got an additional 10% off for buying 6 or more bottles. We are in town for just 3 nights but will definitely head back for more wine before we continue our trip.”

“This store is always way to busy. Never enough employees working. No room to shop. Always messy. But the store always has what you want. And the employees that are there working alway have a smile and are friendly. Dollar General needs to expand into the other store that is vacant next door, that way they would have more room to stock more stuff.”

“I have always loved this store, especially the weekly deals they have in the front of the store. Lately however those deals have been with strings attached. Things like "save a lot on these potato chips" but only if you buy 4 bags! Really? Who needs to buy 4 bags of potato chips at one time? Not the healthiest things. Plus i don't have the extra money to buy everything in bulk. Hopefully they straighten that out and get back to giving us a reduced price on one item instead of 4. I will decide how many of one item my family will be consuming.”

“The nicest group of people work here and the gentleman who works the nights ( mostly) is the friendliest person, he makes conversation with everyone, he greets everyone and I enjoy speaking with him.”

I get the alerts to come and get my stuff (text, email and call) 2 days in a row, I go up to pick up and it's not ready. They can't find my Xmas tree order!! I tried calling and no one answers. Day 4, I finally get an answer (after trying to cancel the order) and they found it!! Also, When i picked up groceries and informed her I forgot my coupons, should I go get and come back or can I redeem later with my receipt, I was given the wrong info. I came back with receipt and coupons and customer service said no....I can only redeem at time of pickup. $13 in coupons unused.”

“Shelves are well stocked, organic alternatives, plenty of parking, very clean and close to great shopping alternatives that you could visit before finishing with your grocery shopping. Target, Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and places to eat like Panera, McDonald's ...”

“This store in Stow is a lot better than most of the other Marc's. It's clean and we'll organized and the staff and employees are pleasant and courteous.”

“I like the store itself but I ordered a birthday cake from the bakery and when I went to pick it up the bakery staff ignored me completely. I had to scream hello to get any service. They need someone to deal with walk up customers when they are busy decorating cakes. I Almost left. Above and beyond that the cake I ordered didn't really look the same as it did online and whoever made the cake put the emblem on the cake topper upside down. Also it was not secured to the cake in anyway and while walking out of the store and going over all the bumps in the exit area, the topper slid off the cake. I fixed it when I got home but shouldn't have to do this as I've never had that happen anywhere else ever before.”

“My visit occurred late at night; about an hour and a half before closing. The subsequent emptiness in the store that I experienced affects my review. It was pretty empty. But unlike other stores in the hours before closing, this Giant Eagle had a lack of the post apocalyptic desolation vibe that would usually happen at 9pm. Instead, it had an occupied warmth. Employees still walked the aisles and manned their posts with life in their eyes. Nobody likes their public facing job an hour before their shift is over, but these employees hid it really well. Maybe I'm used to seeing people that look like they've given up. Maybe I'm projecting; in truth, does a go getter attitude intimidate me because I'm ashamed of my own poor work ethic? Does a lifeless, hateful type of employee satiate my own ego? These are questions I might muse about as I pluck some semolina flour from the shelf.They have semolina flour! They have a huge cheese selection! They have so many stocked, neat shelves. The store is wonderfully clean and a litmus for what Giant Eagles should feel like.”

“Peggy in the Pharmacy is always friendly, professional and efficient. Meta in the dairy aisle was very helpful as I was searching for an alternative to Giant Eagle plain yogurt (out of stock).”

“I use the Walmart app to order food and other items from this Walmart location. They always seem to have the items that I need and they have fast delivery! Excellent!”
