“Honestly, I was very impressed with this dealership! I had a negative experience at my local Hyundai Dealer and decided to give this place a try.
I met with Justin, who was very personable and very non-traditional car salesman. I did not feel pressured at all, he let me take a look at a couple models that I was interested in and provided real opinions on each one. No typical sales-pitch tactics.
I decided on leasing an Elantra after getting some estimates (which were quick to receive - not the usual “30 minutes back and forth” tactic). Finance guy was very helpful, not pushy on the added protection plans. The way they presented the options and prices was straightforward and easy to understand.
Such a relief to have an easy process. I highly recommend this place if you’re not into 80’s-style car salesman pitches and techniques, especially if you’re a woman going car shopping alone.
Sometimes being genuine is the best sales technique!”

“After figuring out what car I wanted to purchase, a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue, I contacted several dealerships to see what deals they could offer, the pricing was at list or a bit higher and the trade in were all about the same. I was out in Hudson so I figured I would check out Great Lakes Hyundai in Streetsboro and I was impressed. First they actually seemed to want my buisness, I was actually greeted when I came into the dealership. Second Justin did a nice job as the salesperson finding the vehicle I wanted and keeping me informed. Third Great Lakes was willing to knock $1000 off the price to get me to commit to the purchase. Fourth they ageed to the minor conditions I requested; not putting on the protection plan and no dealership decals on the car. Overall a very good experience. Delivery took a while, but that is typical these days. Justin kept me informed without being overbearing and he followed up after the delivery. If you are looking for a Hyundai I would give Great Lakes an opportunity; they are a bit low key, but they are willing to make deals. Because of the location I will probably have the service done at a dealership closer to me, but if I was purchasing another car I would definitely give Great Lakes a try.”

They explained everything they were going to do to repair my vehicle in great detail, they kept in touch with me on a consistent basis while my vehicle was in their possession, they completed the work ahead of the expected completion date, and my vehicle looks great! “From beginning to end they could not have been nicer and more accommodating! The only reason for the 4, vs. 5 stars is because some things that should have been mentioned regarding the transfer of plates and titles were not but I believe it was due to some of the folks being in training status. Either way, they got the job done in the end and I would go back to them again, 100%”
