29 N Central Ave, UticaI left the area in 2011. I had my wonderful Maggie put down in 2010. Erich and his father took care of all my pets over many years. They boarded them, cared for them, and truly loved them. Erich had the sad job of putting down my Maggie (a beautiful and sweet English setter). We arrived and Maggie comfortably went into the reception area. Erich came out, sat down, and Maggie got into his lap. Yes, my pets were always comfortable at Ramseyer’s. Erich took us I’d back and gently put Maggie to sleep… Erich cried with us that day. He is the best of the best. I love Erich and his father for the love they gave to my pets and to my family.

145 S Main St, UticaWent to this vet in Jan.. I am grateful to this vet office in Utica. Our kitty was attacked by something. Normally, they don't see new customers on a Saturday. But after I explained what happened and that our normal vet was closed. They got us in. They were able to help our Kitty Rigby. Drain the leg that had swollen huge. Now, he is fit as a fiddle. Very accommodating, everyone was so nice. THANK YOU, SO MUCH....

3205 Van Fossen Rd, UticaJan at Ensign K9 truly goes above & beyond and spent so much time helping me on the phone giving me great information that she could have charged hundreds for. I appreciate the time she puts in because she's doing it for the dogs and its a revolutionary act of animal activism. She continues to be a resource for me and we've never met in person because I live in Boston. If you are lucky enough to live close enough to utilize an in person training, I definitely would do so, but she also does virtual training sessions as well.

12182 Bruce Rd, UticaIncredibly healthy, smart, and gorgeous dogs (with personalities to boot!) bred by an absolute professional! Excellent communication throughout the both transactions. We liked our first toy sized (12 lb) puppy so much, we decided to purchase a second (mid-size 24 lbs) one. I cannot recommend Cathy Grandstaff and crew enough!
