They sedated her then opened, drained then flush the abscess. She is back home with medications and is sleeping off the residual effects of the sedative. Great job!

2014 Mount Vernon Road Suite 3495, NewarkWhile I have never been to this clinic in person, I can only imagine how great it is based on the people who work there. I recently lost my cat on a road trip from New York to Colorado. He escaped his harness at a gas station in Quaker City, OH. I posted in many FB groups, and one person to respond was an owner of this clinic, Dan. He was invested from the very beginning and I can't thank him enough for everything he did to assist with the search. I was unable to be there because we didn't have a choice but to sadly continue our drive, but my siblings went up the next day to search and Dan drove an hour to meet them and provide traps, headlamps, and flashlights. Not only this, but he sent two of his veterinary assistants, Cassandra and Elizabeth, out to search while still being on the clock. They drove 45 minutes from this clinic to help search. Lastly, after my cat ended up being found via a drone search, my siblings went to Dan's house at probably 3 am to return his gear, and he provided them with snacks and drinks for their long drive home. Not many people would do this for someone they don't know and I am so thankful to Dan, Cassandra, and Elizabeth for all of their efforts! If I lived in this area I would be taking my pets here. Thank you all!!

I’ve taken my dog there intermittently for years. On 7/22/26 I had to have my 11 year old fur baby euthanized. I can’t tell you how empathetic, kind, and calming Dr. Roberts and the staff were during this very emotional and heartbreaking time for me. They treated us so well, didn’t rush us and they explained every detail throughout the entire process. When I picked up Caius’ cremains this week they handled them with such care and I got the biggest hug along with a condolence card signed by the staff. They truly understand how much we love our fur babies and how important they are to us. I absolutely recommend Valu-Vet 100%.
