“I tried their produce for the first time. I have never had such huge, sweet grapes. They have a lot of variety....pre-made salads, lunchables, prepackaged cheese, crackers and pepperoni, bananas, watermellon. Its a very neat and organized store, and the cashier was very sweet. They also have 2 self checkouts. Love this store!”
“I go to this store every two weeks. If I lived closer, I’d certainly go more often. They carry such great food and snack items, plus frozen food and the deli is great. And you can top all that off with a hand dipped ice cream cone. It’s a wonderful little store that is full of surprises.”

“The girls who work there went above and beyond in helping me find what I was looking for on Christmas Eve. All of them know where everything in that store is and they will take you right to it. They are always eager to help you! You won't find a more helpful and friendly bunch of girls!”

“In the Parkersburg/Belpre area, this is my favorite Kroger because I can usually find better produce with more available selections than at the other Krogers. Also, I can find many items related to my Whole Foods Plant Based diet, such as plant based meats, cheeses, butter, etc... I love the authentic sushi kiosk in the deli area and the fresh baked bread. People who work there are friendly and helpful. What I do not love is checkout. Usually, there are only one or two cashier-run registers; the rest are self-checkout, and there is usually a long line at all of them. I have a pleasant experience shopping in the store, but checking out is a pain.”
“Great place. We always buy meat here and like the fact they have a butcher. The deli is great. Overall a good smaller store without the big crazy crowds. They sure need more checkers. I realize it is hard to get people to work.”

“I feel like I'm late to the party because I never knew this place existed.I would recommend it to anyone who loves to prepare good food. The variety in meats and cuts is amazing. I got everything I needed for a stunning seafood risotto.The quality is great and the prices are reasonable, some things are around the same price you'd find at Publix or a little lower.I already want to go back to get some of the desserts as well. They have a good variety of them and I want to try a few.”
“Once you wade through the hookers, homeless, handicapped, bicyclists, backpackers, and burglars out in the parking lot you will find the inside has plenty of reasonably priced cold beer and some of the friendliest and courteous cashiers in town.”

“This is exactly what every Walmart is. Giant, clogged with people every weekend and has everything. In a small town like Vienna, it carries the things the local food chains can't sustain and their employees know where to point you when you ask for a specific item. This one gets an above average rating for having a self-checkout and relatively few lines. I appreciated getting to check myself out since I literally had two cans of jalapeños in adobo sauce.”

“This store is going downhill so badly. No matter what time of day I'm there, you cannot find anybody in the office. Things that were normally on the shelf are basically non-existent. I have always been a faithful Kroger shopper but this is beginning to turn my stomach.”
“Idk why this place only gets 3.9 stars currently bc this is by far the very best groceries store in the Belpre, Marietta, and Parkersburg region.
They are always clean and they have excellent selections.
They have a fairly good amount of vegan and gf options. They have a lot of Asian and Hispanic options.
Their produce selection is top notch for the area.”

“I think the deli is the main attraction at Hickory Grove. They have a menu with a wide selection for you to choose from. They have prepared meals , so if you're in a hurry ..you can order ahead of time as well. They also deliver if you give them notice . They deliver for seniors and disabled people. This place has almost everything that you might need , but some things are pricy compared to stores that are closer in town . I go there for fried chicken , it is yummy . and they have gas , I almost forgot about that ! Thumbs up !”
