12220 Gore Orphanage Rd, WakemanOur Kitty Lana had a great experience! i was struggling to find a reasonable price and appointment that wasnt 6 months out and was so happy to call Cedarside and get in within the month, and at a very fair cost. the man that assisted me in person with taking Lana in and then payment and retrun at the end was very kind and friendly and informational ! Lana got Spayed, a shot, and a treatment while there along with an overnight visit for HALF the cost of the nearest vet to me taking appointments over 6 months in the future. Lana was shy and reserved when she came home the first night but they let me know that would be very normal ! and by the following morning she was fully back to her old self just a little calmer. the doctor was kind, informational, professional, although i didnt see her person she had great customer service. additionally, the location is so quiet and tucked away, i had NO anxieties about Lana sleeping over as she gets jumpy with loud traffic and sounds and this place was just in the middle of quiet nowhere. highly recommend!

Affordable Pet Care
79 E Main St, WakemanThis clinic has the biggest heart. Everyone is so kind. The techs are so helpful and vey patient with you. They understand how much our animals mean to us. They will answer all your questions, no matter how many you have. The doctors have a wonderful calmness about them. No vet bills are cheap but they are very reasonable.

Vermilion Valley Vineyards
11005 Gore Orphanage Rd, WakemanHave heard about this winery for a while, decided to stop on our footloose Friday. Both my husband and I had some questions about what to choose, gentleman at the counter was very helpful. I had their Cab Franc, was told it was their top selling red and I can see why, light to medium bodied, herbal notes, ginger, dried red fruit with soft tannins. Smooth and delightful. Hubs had the gewurtztraminer - fruit forward with pepper and spice.
Grounds are lovely as is inside space. We sat next to the lily pond and enjoyed the sun and the breeze.
While we didn’t partake there were two food trucks set up (they were doing the biz too)
Will definitely stop back.

Matus Winery
15674 Gore Orphanage Rd, WakemanMy wife and I have going to Matus on Thursday evenings for date night for sometime now. We always felt welcome as if family and have met some of the most wonderful people there. I definitely would recommend going there, the wine is great, the owners are awesome and the fellowship with others is outstanding.
