“We have an older Dyson DC-14 vacuum. It stopped working recently, but I was reluctant to throw it away. Yesterday, I called Carmen’s in Westerville and spoke with Luke. He was kind and offered a couple of suggestions I had tried but also welcomed me to bring the machine to the store. I did do yesterday afternoon. Luke was there and tried the vacuum. It made the noise I’d described. He moved it to the counter and took the impeller apart. He cleaned out the rotating ends, reinstalled it, and it worked like a charm! Thank you, Luke! I know not every repair is as simple as mine. I was fortunate. But please try to give repair a shot if you at all can. I know if I have a vacuum problem again, I’ll head to Carmen’s and ask for Luke!
