“Recently purchased a new vehicle from King’s Toyota. This is our third vehicle that we purchased from King’s Toyota. We put over a half million combined miles on our other two vehicles. We love Toyotas because of their reliability and how the company supports their products. Our 2007 Tundra had it frame and cold air injection pumps replaced at no cost to us. The frame was replaced when the truck had 186k miles! And Toyota provided a rental car for 90 days while the frame was ordered and installed!

“This is honest review and I'll share my passed experiences with Performance Toyota, including this one. Back in 2018 I was in the market for a 4runner and the "salesmen" as I dealt with 2 of them on different days and would not come down on price at all and would not even let me go on a test drive alone, which was ok as they ticked me off so much that I ended up buying one at Kerry Toyota down in Florence as they gave me a killer deal, best car buying experience so far. Fast forward to March 2022 and I'm looking for a Sienna, height of the car bubble, they had 3 vans arriving and 9 people were there and some were there with their families so 6 people were going away without a van. I was there for about 8 hrs and they would not give me the value of my trade in until the van had arrived which was shady but whatever. Of course they tried to low ball me on my trade-in but I told them to keep their van but at that time they were prioritizing people with trade-ins they could sell so they bumped up their original value by a couple grand to a more fair price. I got the van but more because I needed one for my growing family , I was not happy with the process as it felt like I was in a rat race but I got one back when you had to agree to buy one sight unseen. Dealers took people for a ride and I wasn't too happy with that whole experience but I give credit to the saleswoman I dealt with back then as she was doing everything she could to get me a van, running back and forth with management to get me to agree to a deal. So credit where credit was do. Now fast forward to Sep of 2024. I'm happy with my van, no problems just doing the recommended maintenance, I get emails all the time about selling my van as it's a sought after vehicle. They ask me to come and look at their new ones and I just wanted to see what they had and was not serious about buying one at all. They ended up giving me a killer deal this time and a trade in value I was very happy with. I dealt with this salesman named Sterling Jackson, really good stand up guy and he worked really hard to get my business and this last time was a much more pleasant experience. So things have gotten much better from my first experience and it's the closest Toyota dealership to my house so I prefer to go there first and hope the experience will be better. I think it helped that I wasn't serious about getting one and if the van I liked sold then that was OK with me as I was more than happy with mine. I hope they keep this up and really try and make their customers feel as though they got a fair deal. That is all, and if you're in the market for a new Toyota ask for Sterling Jackson.”

“I put in a reservation for a truck but when I arrived it was unavailable ?. Fortunately the staff called their Fairfield location and found one?. If you don't want to make a new reservation for another location, they have to trade another vehicle to swap for the one you want. He was kind they were kind enough to swap out a vehicle at their location for the one I requested. I wanted to extend my vehicle time but the lady I spoke with could not seem to find my VIP, reservation, or card on file. I suspect she was too busy to look my name or reservation up. I did give my name but she claimed she could not find me smh. She quoted $450 for 3 days with no explanation so I just returned the truck. I was offered $435 for my 10 day reservation in the beginning. I am not sure why it was so much for 3 days but I did not want to cause an issue. The gentleman that booked my truck was very thorough in explaining. I booked through my credit card the first time. I'm not sure if booking direct through Enterprise is worth the VIP discount offered. Overall I enjoyed my experience with the vehicle chosen and the customer service provided in my initial check in.”

“Although i ended up liking my rental, it was not what i reserved. I was sent to that location specifically because i asked for a pickup. Once there i was told none were available even though there were 3 on the lot. Those i was told were just for enterprise truck rental customers. Then to make matters worse, the truck i had reserved cost much less than the van i was placed in. Although i did get a small discount, I felt i should have gotten the van at the truck price since i had one reserved and only once i was there was i denied my reservation. This isn't how enterprise used to do business. But everything else was great. Just started out on a really bad foot. I felt i had to pay for your mistake. One bright spot; i liked the van i rented from you so much i ended up buying one just like it. So thanks very much for that.”
