Not only did Alec have a vision, he sketched it out and they ultimately created a custom piece more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I wouldn’t go anywhere else but Koulian for my jewelry needs. The staff is warm and welcoming, and deliver the kind of service you can only get from a family owned business that really hears and values their customers. Additionally the quality and price are incredibly reasonable. I’ve had my ring for almost a year now and it is in just as great shape since I first got it.”

“I went in to buy a nice necklace for my daughter's graduation. Bob and every other employee I ran in to were very nice. The store was very busy, but I was not left unattended. One of the employees even came from her lunch to make sure I was being attended to. They had a number of items that were right along the lines of what I was thinking, and at a fair price point. So I ended up buying two.”

The team provided me with the exact balance of knowledge and empathy (knowing it was an heirloom I received when she passed). I then returned to have my engagement ring cleaned before my wedding and they made it look absolutely brand new. The prices are surprisingly affordable given how high of quality their work and stones are! You’d also be surprised the custom items they offer outside of just jewelry. “Ok I am obsessed with this store, though I haven't bought a lot of things from here. It has been on High St for decades(?)-- before all the other boutiques and cool shops, Karavan was there amongst the art galleries that were once only speckled throughout the Short North. I loved it even as a teenager walking by with my friends. From the window, you are dazzled by a plethora of gorgeous glass mosaic lamps and jewelry, which is enough to make you want to come inside. The interior is colorful in every direction you look. They have everything from handmade clothing to hand-woven rugs, plus other beautiful home decor items. Recently I found out that if you purchase one of their mosaic globe lamps, the owner will allow you to bring the glass back and switch it out for a different color of globe whenever you want! Literally amazing. It's like the lamp that keeps on giving. I'm working towards my next big goal so I can justify buying one for myself as a reward because they aren't cheap, but they look to be worth every penny. Love Karavan!”
