“Lady working register was super friendly and pleasant, store was not fully stocked and could use a good wipe down in front of drink machines and the floor was so sticky you stick to it. The store is not usually in this condition but it appeared the lady who helped me was the only one working. I have noticed that this store has had a stocking issue lately and is out of a lot of stuff recently.”

“Shop at Kroger, and build up fuel points. Redeem the points at any Kroger Fuel Centers, or participating Shell gas station. The points help. The points are cool.”
“Maintained well. Issue is trying to get back on road from the direct exit from the gas station. You have to remember to exit either the back road behind Kroger or the far end of the kroger lot by Tim Hortons. If not, you usually take a mad dash across traffic because of no light signal on the main entee/exit.”

“I just came about 6 pm and i ordered from the speedy cafe and there was only one employee doing the job of 3 people working by herself with no fan and she was really awesome and got all the food out in a timely manner and still had wonderful customer service despite her working conditions 10/10”
“This is my "go to" store for specific items and the prices are great. I buy their olive oil, nuts, cheeses, and frozen fish. The store is clean and organized. I also always fill up the tank with gas as the price is usually good. They have a very liberal return policy. The prices for prescription drugs are great too. The pharmacist is always willing to check to insure I am getting the best price. I often pick up a cooked chicken as well because there is so much you can do with it at home.”
“The GM there is awesome. I have a severe walking handicap so she doesn't even let me carry my stuff back to my car. Then she pumps my gas for me. She's the definition of knowing her customers and knowing what needs to be done for the safety of her customers. I realize that it's not always possible to do this. But it doesn't matter what the price of a gallon, I will continue going there when I need gas. Even though there are closer stations that may be lower in price. I've been to a lot of other Soeedways and BP"s and I never receive that kind of treatment. More places should be that concerned about their customers. I know they don't get that many persons with the great difficulty walking like me. I could only hope to get this type of concerned treatment at any other gas station. I hope that Speedway upper management reads this, and give her appropriate reward for her concerns and knowledge of her customer base. And sometimes self service doesn't mean ignoring the obvious about her regular customers.”
“I used to live over by this place and let me tell you it's the life line over in the plat for sure for a lot of people, also the people are really friendly and like to get to know you on a friend type basis, I love that about family owned businesses, definitely recommend the place it's usually has cheaper gas and they also have deals on marbles (10.88) for two packs.”

“I normally don’t even do reviews, but a lot of businesses could learn a lot from Speedway on Detroit st., simply because of their employees. I stop in multiple times every day and not once have I had a bad experience. Every employee is very friendly and welcoming, making it a super comfortable place to shop in. Their customer service is much better than any other convenience store in town, I would even argue that its better than any business in town. Much appreciated service!”

“Always great place to get any of the essentials. Store stays very well stocked up on anything from snacks, emergency vehicle needs, like oil or antifreeze, and various quick items. My favorite thing about it, besides the staff, is that they always have some overstock super cheap beer or alcohol. I have spent the past years being able to snag an awesome thing from 15 packs at 2.99 to some of the new seltzer 12 packs for the Mrs at 1.99 to 2.99. You can always count on finding some serious discounted drinks here!”
