Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been professional, friendly, and always willing to answer any questions.
They’re also very proactive; if they notice I’m running low on a prescription, they’ll call to ask if I’d like them to reach out to my doctor for a refill. I’ve never waited more than five minutes, and there’s rarely more than one person ahead of me.
My husband and I have been using Hometown for the past two years, and my only regret is not switching sooner. I can’t recommend them highly enough!”
“I only visited to pick up on online order. That was the quick and easy part. The online ordering process wasn't. Meijer's website was slow and cumbersome. Each item in a category was scattered across all the category pages. You'd be looking for peanut butter and find Skippy on page 2, Jif on page 6, Peter Pan on page 9, organic on page 10, and the store brand also on page 10. No similar items were ever listed together.”

Worst staff I have ever encountered… extremely unprofessional and very rude everyone from the incompetent guy who answers the phone to the pharmacist.. I can’t believe these clowns are still in business.. this is one incident of many.. my client was having problems reaching them for refills he was without medications for over two weeks as he needs them delivered since he is paraplegic, but one of the staff a women who is super rude got frustrated from him while he was asking her simple questions about delivery times and told him to come walk get his medication by himself and hang up on him because she got aggravated with his questions !!!! now how Condescending is that to speak to a 75 year-old paraplegic ?”
“I typically enjoy this location, but customer service can vary. On 3/13/25 around 4:30 PM, the woman working in the café had both an unpleasant attitude and an unkempt appearance. Despite this experience, I'm giving the store 4 stars because I don't take such matters personally, especially when the person seems genuinely unhappy.”
“Call in prescription refill, sometimes its ready next day , sometimes its ready 2 days later , sometimes its ready 3 days later, and sometimes its ready in 2 weeks.. and sometimes I call it in on a Thursday and its ready on a Friday.
They cut the hours..
They want your prescription paid in advance .. (which is fine. Totally understand)
However the worst part is. This one lady Tina i believe always gives the same political answer everytime .. 3 to 5 days..
I know that isnt true everytime !! So I guess because its the only lab that makes this prescription. . We are stuck with a rude very rude attitude everytime.. I have to drive 1hour to pick up this prescription... I call to find out if it will be ready so I can make it before 6 o'clock closing time... well Tina it been 4 days since I paid for my refill .. so I have to call and check and get told this same political correct answer .. when I try to explain, hey I drive a hour to pick this up .. and I know its not always your political correct answer.!!! But her very rude and disrespectful attitude is not welcome !!

“Maintained well. Issue is trying to get back on road from the direct exit from the gas station. You have to remember to exit either the back road behind Kroger or the far end of the kroger lot by Tim Hortons. If not, you usually take a mad dash across traffic because of no light signal on the main entee/exit.”

“I had a terrible experience with kroger, probably worse at walgreens.
Miejer is the best pharmacy I've worked with in 7 years. Period. They communicate,have consistent equalivent meds,help educate, and respond/resolve any issues I've had in a timely manner.
I'm now an advocate to anyone with medication to give Miejer a try. ( As far as I can see, if nothing changes, I will only use Miejer over all other pharmacies)”

“This is my "go to" store for specific items and the prices are great. I buy their olive oil, nuts, cheeses, and frozen fish. The store is clean and organized. I also always fill up the tank with gas as the price is usually good. They have a very liberal return policy. The prices for prescription drugs are great too. The pharmacist is always willing to check to insure I am getting the best price. I often pick up a cooked chicken as well because there is so much you can do with it at home.”

“If anyone needs to get HIV testing done, do it here! It is free and just going once gets you in contact with providers who are OPEN ABOUT ALL QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. I left in happy tears just by the experience. Usually I opt for an oral exam from the pharmacy. I'm by myself and being anxious alone for that kind of result sucks. A nurse stayed with me the whole time and talked to me about Prep and other options. He even had someone come in to talk about financials. There is still a huge stigma unfortunately and I've witnessed it firsthand, at other locations. Here I felt safe, welcome, and there was no judgement. Instead of, "What do you want me to do?" It was "How can we help?" With any result, they are there to answer all questions and if they don't know, they don't hesitate to ask colleagues. I was a first time patient so there was paperwork involved but nothing too extensive. Oh and did I mention NO PROOF OF INSURANCE IS NEEDED FOR THE FREE BLOOD TEST! There isn't a catch. Next time you're at MJs or Masque, look for them. They have screenings outside the bars! Take advantage of this ya'll. They'll literally save your mentality and maybe even your life.”
“Well-maintained, fully-stocked "super center" with some goodies I don't think I'll EVER find in my Kroger back in Springfield. AND... If you wander in on a Friday, let the music (LIVE BAND when I was there a while back!!) lead you to the liquor section/bar that was HOPPING!!! Surprising (to me, anyway...) there's a HAPPY HOUR at this Kroger!! Not an empty seat in the "house," and it looked like quite the party!! What a great idea, I'd go often if I lived closer, AND get my (tipsy) shopping done for the weekend as well!! I'm sure this is going on in other, more... HAPPENING areas, though I don't see it ever arriving here in the "Field of Springs." I'm not much of a drinker, really, but I think this is a GREAT idea, AND a FINE grocery shopping option if you're in the area...”
