It's not been cheap but it has been honest and a heck of a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Ellis will fix things he finds while working on the "bigger issues" and not charge for it. He is honest and thorough. These are rare traits these days. Highly recommend him but don't want him to get too busy!”

“Best place to take your car. I have never had such an honest, detailed experience with a mechanic before. I have been tricked for years in other states about my air conditioning. They would tell me I needed to change my compressor for a new one costing about $1200-$1400. I have not been able to pay that so I have been winging each hot summer without a/c, or not driving at all because it gets dangerously hot at stop lights and slow moving traffic.I heard about Family Automotive through a friend, and this place has saved my life. Blaine checked everything out and found the problem, the whole unit did not have to be replaced. He explained everything in detail in a way I could understand. Since the cost was not $1200-$1400, I was able to fix other issues in addition to my a/c.I think we all need to take a moment to appreciate and support the honest people left in our society, the people that lift us up and want to see us do well.
