“Living in Duncan, Oklahoma means you have to adjust to everyday life and shopping needs in a small town. Can't compare this small grocery store to the super giants stores in Phoenix. Homeland does reminds me a lot of the Basra's that used to be located at 7th and Osborn. Prices for most of the items are higher than at Walmart, which is up a bit on Highway 81. But...if you are craving Fried Chicken, Oh my lucky stars....Homeland deli makes the best Fried Chicken around. I love the tasty and crunchy skin. Sign up for a Homeland card and an 8 piece is only $6.99. I love me some Homeland Fried Chicken! Customer service is a plus here. Best part is that it's just up the street from our home. Well, everything is just around the corner from our home. Ha! ***Oh and the carry Chocolate Malt O Meal. Score***”

“I often stop by this Dollar General location because it's in the same shopping center as ACE's Hardware, Brooks Butcher Shop, and of course Murphree's Wine & Spirits. It's conveniently located on US Hwy 81 along most of the places I shop. I usually stop in to pick up various greeting cards for Birthdays, Sympathy, Get Well, Congratulations and blank cards. I always like to have various cards on hand because it never fails - when I need one, I never have any on hand. So now I make it a point to stock up and keep a few in my desk. While I am there. I will pick up a sturdy dog toy or two for the Cockatoos and a few snacks. I am always greeted as I enter and enjoy small talk about Duncan and local news while checking out. I'm slowly beginning to feel like a true local here. Cheers****”

“The man working the register was on his very first day of work and first time ever doing that type of work, which differs largely when compared to the work of a construction worker... the man informed me and my friend of his new hire employment and was very polite when conversing and very apologetic for the extra time it was taking him bc of his inexperience... i would be willing to say that he went above and beyond the average employee at doing his best to ensure that our shopping experience was convenient, quick, and complete...”

“Since Walmart in Duncan Oklahoma remodeled the store it is difficult to find items and when you go to the soda isle why put the 2 leter soda on the top shelf where it is very difficult for a short person to reach it I have asked a manager about maybe moving the two liters to a lower shelf so other people who are shorter like my wife Mary who is 5 foot 2 inches tall can reach them I see other costumers who are short like my wife have just as much difficulty!!!!! It is like a scavenger hunt looking for items now since Walmart in Duncan Oklahoma remodeled it's store on highway 81 in Duncan Oklahoma it's not just my opinion it's other costumers options as well”

“Employees are generally friendly and helpful. We usually shop Homeland to avoid the crowd and crazy parking at Walmart. Prices aren't always cheaper but it's worth it to avoid chaos. Shelves haven't been stocked as well lately. Hear it's due to a new ordering system. Hopefully it gets worked out soon.”
