“This is the most amazing DG. I just love this store. The manager is so awesome, service with a smile. They always have what I need from groceries to essential stuff.. Keep on keeping on to Ms. Sally, manager..”
“I typically don’t leave reviews unless i have terrible service but I experience the entirely opposite today with Janelle at the customer service desk! I had ordered sugar free redbull in my pick up order and received regular and drove up there to see if I could swap them out. It turned out they were out of stock but let’s just say that Janelle went above and beyond to make sure I left with what I had ordered. I haven’t had great customer service like that in a VERY LONG time. I hope she gets all the recognition she deserves and more. We need more people like her in customer service!!”
“I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Alec during my visit to Dollar General, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Alec's professionalism and dedication truly stood out, making my shopping experience a breeze. From the moment I entered the store, Alec greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly "hello." His positive attitude was contagious, instantly putting me in a good mood. What impressed me the most was his willingness to go above and beyond to help me find the items I needed. He listened attentively to my inquiries, provided valuable recommendations, and even assisted in locating some hard-to-find products.Alec's product knowledge was impeccable. He answered all my questions with confidence, demonstrating his expertise in the store's layout and product selection. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of the customers.Additionally, Alec's efficiency at the checkout counter was remarkable. He scanned and bagged my items swiftly while maintaining a courteous and friendly demeanor throughout the process. It's rare to encounter such exemplary customer service, and Alec made my shopping trip an absolute delight. In a retail environment where exceptional service can be hard to find, Alec at Dollar General is a shining example of what customer service should be. His dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude are truly commendable, and he deserves all the recognition for making my shopping experience a five-star one.I would highly recommend visiting Dollar General and seeking out Alec's assistance for a truly outstanding shopping experience. Thank you, Alec, for your exceptional service!”
“They always have a clean store and gas prices are usually better than others around. They even have free air for my tires while out places charge for it
.”
“They never have enough cashiers. Leaving your frozen food to thaw. They didn't even have someone to open up the quick out self service area one day. Usually only at the most are 2 open cashiers. USUALLY one. The Cashiers gripe about no one wanting to work there and that they are over worked. Kinda depressing.”
“Their tops when it comes to customer service and knowledgeable about the goods they sell. My only complaint is DG never seems to carry big enough Trojans. But other than that I love this place otherwise I'd have to go to Elgin. Which by buggy takes half the day there and back.”
“I like Dollar General they are helpful. U dont havetrouple finding aplace to park. They havemost things u need.u are in an out fast.dont have to walk a mile to uour car.”
“Best grocery store in the county with fresh produce and meats in the meat market and great hard working managers and employees that are constantly improving. Don't forget to download your app for coupons for extra savings.”

“Friendly employees, helpful...I was lost..., their store was very neat and clean, and their ladies bathroom was also clean⣠Thank you for being the best Dollar General I have ever been in💖💖💖”
“Great service, I’d rather stop here than some big chain station. They have always had a range of hot food items and homemade cookies of many flavors! They have great tasting coffee and cappuccinos! Thank you for remembering people and items they normally get, definitely the hometown vibe. Thanks again”
