“Popped by today without an account with a decent sized check to cash. I've been in many banks, some even where I have accounts with very substantial amounts in them, and this branch gave me the absolutely best experience I've ever had at a bank. I've also had banks just straight up refuse to cash a check for someone without an account, so, I didn't exactly know what I was walking into.Upon walking in dressed like I just got out of bed and drove 3 hours, Aidan (judging by the receipt I got) greeted me with a smile and a warm "Welcome to IBC Bank!". Like, a commercial would show him doing. It was literally insane how friendly it was, while still being corporate enough that you knew it was a bank and not a MoneyCenter at your local superstore.Anyways, Aidan of course went through the standard protocols I'd expect with a decent sized check, and had to grab his manager, who was also super friendly.Kinda incredibly, they cashed the check for me, without even thinking about charging any sorts of fee, and I was back out the door in maaaaybeee 10 minutes (including having to call the person who wrote the check).The situation behind the check was one of the most stressful experiences I've had to go through in my life, and Aidan (and his manager) really made wrapping it up the absolute best it could have been. Very tempted to move all my banking to IBC, just based on this experience. Keep up the great work!”
