“I've been coming to Super Quick on South Shields since they opened ...I don't always feel like changing my own. Brought in a lot of cars and pickups for Lube, Oil, Filter over the years - had them flush and change the rearend on my one ton Ford Camper once. Never a problem. Just checking them online to see if they can recharge the AC in my current old car because I couldn't remember if they do that ...they do -so I'll be going down for that soon too.”

My daughter’s car is about 24 years old, it is a solid car, but things break and wear out. She texted the other day, said there was smoke coming from the right side of the engine and it smelled like oil. I was afraid it was something expensive!!! Lol. I was concerned that the engine oil had been overfilled and possibly caused some damage.
I checked the engine bay, found something was leaking from the back left side of the engine, I checked the oil and listened to the engine. I initially called this shop to see if they could check the oil level and explained what happened. They told me if it was overfilled, they would simply drain some out, when asked the cost I was told “nothing” as it would only take a few minutes. They told me to head over; they would take care of me…
I made sure the car was safe to drive and headed over. They got right at it, and I explained what I saw. It took them less than a minute to diagnosis that the high-pressure line for the power steering had ruptured. While I was there, the car needed an oil change, so we had that knocked out really quick, I believe it was the going rate, especially for a higher mileage engine, again ZERO complaints.
I took the car back the next day and I asked him about an inspection, telling him the car was “wobbly” when I drove it to his shop. While changing the damaged hose, he identified the tie-rod ends were bad. I had them changed and I feel the price was very reasonable. The repairs were done in a very timely manner. When I picked up the car, he showed me the damaged parts, I couldn’t believe how bad the tie-rod ends were!
From the start, I trusted them and felt comfortable; they weren’t guessing what was wrong or trying to upcharge anything. To that point, I noticed a significant billing error, in MY favor, when I called him and said I was on my way back to pay the missing amount he was reluctant to charge me what was owed due to the bill already being settled. WHEN has that happened in your life, seriously! I feel like I should’ve been charged more for the missing items that did not make the original invoice; however, he would not accept any more than what we wrote up…
I rarely do reviews; however, I have been searching for an auto repair shop for years, with no luck… I have used the other “chain” shops around the NW side of OKC and have not been happy. I have made friends that are great certified mechanics, and they have completed work in their driveways, they’re great but not always available.
This WILL be my repair shop moving forward, my search for an HONEST, skilled, and knowledgeable mechanic is over.”

“I like the fact that Steve was willing to spend the time on the phone with me to answer my questions. Most places simply won’t give you the time of day to answer questions. Unfortunately it’s against company policy to bring your own oil and filter.”
“Had to get an axle replaced I mean it’s trucking things can get pretty expensive the repair went higher than I thought but the guys that work here are pretty cool I suggest if you’re you should have at least some general knowledge of your equipment they were pretty good tho only complaint I have is it went over the price I was quoted but the work was good and they did some extras and didn’t charge me for it no complaints here they got me back rolling be safe out there drivers”

“I contacted Zach on a Thursday afternoon about getting a new timing belt, tires and break service on my 99 LX470. He got a quote put together for me by Friday morning with all of the information I needed! I had asked for a quote on two different sizes of tires so I could see what the price difference was. I was able to drop the car off Friday after work and it was ready for me to pick up by Tuesday morning. The service was fast, communication was awesome and everything is running great! I will absolutely be using them again.”

He asked me to wait just a few minutes, then came over and asked what service I needed. After I explained, he checked my truck, quickly figured out the AC issue, and got right to work.
