“I was driving the Tulsa-to-Dallas leg pretty late at night and stopped to get some coffee and snacks to keep me going. To my horror, my card was declined and when I checked my account balance it was zero. I was very embarrassed and apologetic, but the owner who was working the counter gave me all my stuff for free. He said he knew I still had a lot of driving ahead of me and he wanted me to stay awake. We talked for a while about his charity work, I said "thank you" probably too much, and then I went on my way and got home safely. I am currently planning a way to repay his kindness that goes beyond just sending cash. If anyone knows his name, that would help--- he said he lives in Highland Park, Dallas but I can't remember his name and I'm trying to track him down. Anyways, I'm so grateful to that man for making the rest of my drive immensely less crappy. He even offered to put gas in my tank but I politely declined because I didn't need it and he had already done more than expected. Thank you, kind stranger!”
“First time visiting with lots of good finds. We arrived just before closing, so we weren’t able to get a freshly cut sangwich, but it looked good. There were plenty of fresh meats, cheeses and sausages. There were also some Italian cookies that I was excited to see which looked like they were made in house and not imported. We purchased some marinara and pizza sauce in addition to pasta. Looking forward to tasting it!”
“These young ladies are beyond helpful! They are knowledgeable, professional, efficient and have an excellent sense of humor . . . a major plus! The prices for the glasses exceeded my expectations because I expected a LOT more! I will definitely be returning and recommend Wal*Mart Vision Center to everyone!”
“Mike is an amazing person who helps the community in any way he can. His store is set up for anyone, but if you are in need of food, clothes, etc he provides those items at a majorly discounted price. If you are in need, but have no money he will still make sure you are taken care of. He is also a huge supporter of classroom teachers and provides discounted or free clothing to any teacher in need.”
“The service is friendly. Some items are priced a little higher but the sales make up for it! We get a lot of our meats from Johnny's and haven't been disappointed.”
“Allen's has the friendliest people, the cleanest store merchandise easy to find its close to home they have hands down the BEST meat market around and one of the BEST AND MOST WONDERFUL cooks around, Dianna Hester is truly Amazing!!”
“Sorry, no photos. But if you want to support local this is one of 2 spots I recommend for groceries. More home town friendly folks here and very helpful if you need it.”
“Most of the fresh fruits and vegetables only last first week. They will still have some fresh veggies through out the month, not as big of selection. Doesn't seem like shipments have fresh fruits and veggies on trucks that come following weeks. Plenty of meat and can goods.”
“The guy's (sorry, I cant remember their names) currently working there are AMAZING! They are always friendly over the phone taking orders and in person. Their pizzas are always great and love their chicken wings!”
“The one in Krebs is my favorite one to go to, and I live 9 miles west of mcalester. One is never a pleasant experience and that is main and electric in mcalester. It is like there is no management and the employees are on their first day. They have closed early twice when I needed something. I got there 20 min before close. I took pictures with time stamps.”

“Your staff is flawlessly polite and up beat, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everyone there. Kudos to sweet Megan who makes prompt deliveries with a smile every time. I am very grateful for the Pruetts Pharmacy staff!!!!”
“Newly remodeled and nice ? there’s always something you need from here. I have never dealt with unfriendly staff. Biggest dollar ? store around. I frequent this one just because of the stock here.”
“Pretty decent, always nice and helpful. Every now and then you might have to wait a few minutes for someone to show up and help you there but they always do a good job.”
“Everyone was nice and polite they respected your space they made sure everything was stopped and sanitized and also they ask how your day is going everyone was polite nice and use proper management and manners they made sure they help you on the items you needed to find and make sure to give detailed areas on where the item was and all the cashiers who are really nice”
“Nice and convenient. Low prices and quality products. A very nice selection of merchandise for the size of the store. However, still need to go to the big retail store three to four times a month because they do have most everything. All other times Dollar General has what you need.”
“Big THANK YOU to Mr. Brandon and his guys in the Auto Care Center for our tire install! We have a Sprinter Van, Dually 4WD. Our dilema came when we purchased the tires at a Walmart in Midland, TX after being told they could install them. Well, they couldn’t and after being sent to a 2nd Walmart in Midland and being told the same, we finally had Mr. Brandon at McAlester Walmart tell us they should be able to install for us, and they did!
What a great example of good leadership! Mr. Brandon and the few hard working guys he had working for him went above and beyond and we appreciate the service and care!”
“Love the Ladies running this store now they are doing a fantastic job. Best crew I've seen at any of the local DGs in a long time, maybe ever. Lol They keep the store fully stocked, clean, tidy, and are always inviting, helpful and so friendly. ?”
