“Just went in here and had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dollar tree, I’m not sure if Terrence was my cashier, I’m not sure if he is the manager, but he was exceptional.Like always, I walked in and didn’t grab a basket (thinking I would just grab two items ?) and after walking around for a few minutes, my hands were full, he immediately noticed, and brought me a basket. he greeted each customer that entered the door, as well as came up to the register in a genuine sort of way. He asked the second person in line if they’d like to set their items down and made room for them on the conveyor belt. He was simply awesome! Excellent customer service and initiative!”
“I was visiting my sister from CA last week when she took me to this gem. They have the most random stuff at decent prices. The 4/5 stars is for the pricing because it's still on the higher end for being a "discount" store. On the flip side, I didn't see anything expired or broken like I would at other discount stores. They truly have something for everyone here - everything from speciality foods to toys to skincare stuff and housewares. We got a giant bag of gummy candy for $7 that I've seen at Ross and TJ Maxx for ~$15+. My sister previously scored a giant Christmas inflatable for $40 that are usually well over $100. The store isn't the cleanest and it definitely has that junky vibe lol, but it's worth checking out to score some super random and decently inexpensive items!”

“I have been frequenting this chain for almost 2 decades. I started at the Joplin location since I'm from there at 18 y/o, then started at this location a decade ago when my sister moved to Tulsa. I've now lived in CA for almost 8 years and am soooo sad this chain hasn't moved this far west after all this time! I've found nothing like it out here at all. I'm a HUGE thrifter and NBC definitely isn't near as cheap as thrift stores, BUT thrift stores rarely have clothes with store tags on them whereas most of NBC's stuff does have those tags. My sister and I have called NBC the "no holes, no stains" store for years and years because you really have to be careful here with stuff since a lot of it has one or both of those things wrong haha. I haven't been to this location in 4 years or so until last week. In that amount of time, I'll say their prices have certainly gone up, but what place hasn't raised their prices. At this location, note all the super sales are in the wing off to the right of the front door. On the main floor, the sale stuff will be along the walls mostly. You can spend hours in the super sale wing, but be careful for flaws in that section - check for working zippers, missing buttons, rips, holes, stains, and whack issues with stitching (like an arm being stitched closed lol). They do have a decent amount of kids stuff in the back, but that section is an absolute hot mess, especially looking for littler kid stuff (under 6x) like I was. My biggest splurge and best find ever at this store was during my last visit - a $450 All Saints lamb skin leather jacket in my size with store tags still on it for $65! It was a grey tag marked at $112 and that color was 40% off. I couldn't believe what a find this one was! There was only a slight imperfection on the leather that I could see, a tiny line of discoloration, maybe a like a slight scratch that didn't break the leather, but left a small mark. Literally no one will notice, so totally worth it!”

She has some employees that work their tails off and then some don't even know what the sales are. “Sara is awesome! Dollar general is lucky to have her, she is very loyal to her job and it shows. It's hard for her to keep good people, I'm not sure why other than pay? And the amount of work that is obviously being put upon these people in a daily. I mean the corporation changes displays and End caps on a weekly and their are constant shipments and a small area in which to work. But the employees and Sara are not dissuaded publicly, they all seem to manage a pleasant conversation when engaged but busy when I come in. I've never encountered a bad experience with any of her employees in spite of the turnover. That speaks volumes of Sara. As you can tell, I'm a frequent customer of almost 6 years of this location! I would love to see you, the corporation to invest in this facility more as to the size and condition of the structure. As a prior business person, I assure you, the right person is running that store, and that store is in the right area, this area needs this store!! Your sales must reflect that..if you really want to invest in our neighborhood invest in our neighborhood store! You know, when I got to this, it was to praise Sara lol, then I began to read the one customer's response about employees being too busy??
