The tanks were spotless, the axolotls were healthy and clearly well cared for, and the husband-and-wife team who owns the shop were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They answered all of my questions without a hint of judgment and made me feel confident and excited about bringing my new little water dragon home.
Their prices were very reasonable, and the level of care and customer service was truly above and beyond.
If you’re thinking about getting an axolotl, this is the place to go. Hands down the best experience ever!

But they helped me find the right dewormer, puppy food, and a treat. Update on puppy, its gaining weight and color is returning after worms were cleared and ticks and fleas were removed. She is happy now upto date on all shots and thriving.

All of the girls that work there are truly pleasant, and you can tell they genuinely care about your pups. Mandy and Roxy are always so welcoming upon arrival, which makes the whole experience even better. Kristen also goes out of her way to pop in and say hi, and that personal touch really means a lot.
Our dogs always come home looking amazing and smelling so fresh and clean. I’m especially grateful for the job Shelby did on Nova and Chance today, they look incredible.

I expected complete chaos since one dog gets nervous around barking, but the staff separated them when needed and kept things surprisingly calm. Their fur looked soft and evenly trimmed afterward, especially around the legs and paws where mud kept collecting before. Pickup was busy because several customers arrived at once, though the employees still stayed patient and friendly with everyone waiting inside.

6528 E 101st St, TulsaWanted to share my experience on this vet, my son's bearded dragon was dying we went to multiple vets, who could not assist due to her being an exotic animal, or were too busy to fit her in. After calling Forest Trails, they fit her in, they were compaionate, explained in detail what was happening, and that she was not going to make it. They said they could do a lot of pricey tests but it would not change the results. In the end they told us to bring her home, and just love her until she passed. If you are looking for an emergency vet, these vets actually care about the pets and their owners.

I think that it would be extraordinarily difficult to get anywhere close to the level of time and effort she puts into each dog for the board and train for even close to this price anywhere else.
Jessica has been willing to board my dog Cobalt on a minutes notice when I was getting sent overseas in only a couple days (and with no 'late signup fee' like a lot of places would charge). She is also willing to sit down and talk at length about how best to improve the dog/human relationship and manage any behavioral issues properly, just because she cares that much about the outcome.
10/10 would recommend both Jessica and her coworker Shala. Awesome place!

She flexed with my ever-changing and difficult schedule while visiting Tulsa, including my having to drive through thunderstorms and torrential rain, making us way late getting to first scheduled meeting so had to postpone. Then I had to change hotels, so she then had to also flex on where to meet us. She had almost no real time to get to know Ajuda before I had to leave for my event, but performed a spectacular success of winning my pupdog's adoration and mine. She put both of us at ease almost immediately by her knowledge of dogs, her gift of meeting each dog (and their person!) on their own level and their own personality, and also her love of them. I'd almost drive the 6 hours back to Tulsa just to hire her again, to give my Ajuda a replay of the treat of an experience!

La Roma Pizza
6027 South Sheridan Road, TulsaIn my 63 years living in more states than I can count, and traveled the world, I have never experienced a more delicious pizza than the pizzas served at La Roma in Tulsa, OK! Everything else on their menu is spectacular as well. I’ve driven past this place for years now, and it’s easy to miss unless you know what you’re looking for, and I told my husband we really need to try Lebanese-style pizza sometime. We finally did try it and I can honestly say that neither of us will ever eat another pizza anywhere but here! We plan on eating here at least once a week for the rest of our lives or until they close (which they’d better not ever do!)
Obviously we believe La Roma deserves 5+ stars and recommend you try it out and see for yourself. We are now pizza snobs, forever ruined by the most delicious pizza ever to even think about eating pizza from anywhere else!

The spinach dip was creamy and by far one of the best I've had. We ordered a variety of pizzas and an order of spaghetti w/ a giant meatball for our 10 year old. All dishes were prepared exceptionally well with seasonings and sauces kissed by the flames of a wood-fired stove. With exceptional service and amazing ambiance inside and outside, I strongly suggest giving this boho chic space a visit!
