Just an excellent fellow, and definitely underappreciated. Will update when I get a chance to ask him if he's the manager. Turtle Stop in Fairland, OK: A Welcoming Haven with Exceptional Service
I've had the pleasure of visiting Turtle Stop in Fairland, OK, multiple times, and each experience has been nothing short of delightful. This place holds a special spot in my heart for its outstanding customer service and thoughtful gestures that truly set it apart.
A few months ago, I lost my wallet. After three days, I went through all the hassle of canceling all my cards and all that... then, Turtle Stop called my employer (because they recognized me, always coming in wearing my work outfit) and told my coworker that they had my wallet! So, on the way home, I stopped in, and the manager (who was new to the location) went back and a few minutes later came back with my wallet! I was so happy, and - the $20 bill that was in there when I lost it, was still in there. All my cards and ID and well... I told him I'd write a very positive review on Google, and here (a few months late) I make good on my word.
When it comes to its menu, Turtle Stop truly excels. Their homemade sandwiches are a culinary delight, bursting with flavor and freshness. And let's not forget their delectable pizzas – a perfect blend of cheese, sauce, and toppings that never fails to satisfy my taste buds. I'm also thrilled that they offer a variety of treats, including Icees and Dippin' Dots, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my visits.
While I share the sentiment expressed by others about wishing for soft-serve ice cream, the overall experience at Turtle Stop remains exceptional. The friendly atmosphere and the genuine smiles of the staff make every visit a pleasant one.
In a world where exceptional service is often hard to find, Turtle Stop in Fairland, OK, stands as a shining example of genuine hospitality and honesty. “I just live around the corner and am there almost daily. The employees are, and always have been, wonderful, kind and helpful. I have to move out of state at the end of February. I will miss this place immensely.”
“This is a very clean and kept up store. The employees are extremely friendly. It is like they know you. They have expensive gasoline prices. They have competitive cigarette and drink prices. The Highway running easy of the store is closed (OK 10) so there is less traffic for now. They are near a casino (High Winds) so this probably helps their business.”
“One CNG dispenser that has two of the smaller nozzles that fit passenger vehicles. Appears to be 24 hour accessible. Worked great. Did not notice any available facilities.”

“I like the store but my husband bought me a sandwich from there and it was frozen and what's worse is my mouth us sore cause I had no choice but to eat it cause I almost past out. I think it had freezer burn on it and caused me to break out last night so I want that place reproted .”

“I had a good experience at this Pete's location.
My coworker had told me about a drink special for those in uniform, and I had gone to the Pete's location right off the turnpike the night before to check it out. My experience at that location was abysmal and I told my coworker I'd never go back. She suggested THIS location by McDonald's, so I decided I'd try once more - I was not disappointed.
The MOMENT I walked in, the employee behind the counter looked up, greeted me, and announced the uniform special. I thanked him before fixing up my drink and went on my way.
This location is a bit out of my way, but it's worth it for the friendly service and the generous uniform drink special. I'll be back!”
