“Lots of pumps. Ive never had to wait to get access to a pump.Convenient store is nicely stocked, although expensive, if you want a drink or a snack. The few times I've used the washroom at this Esso it was very clean and smelled nice.I threw one of their windshield squeegees in the trash bin beside the gas pump, it was a tattered mess that looked like it was already a couple months past its due date of being replaced. Water in the bucket was a cesspool. Luckily I had Windex and paper towels in the trunk.”

“I live in Montreal but I trip out to Hawkesbury to chill out and sometimes part of a day trip. If I'm going with a buddy or a friend or my road trip gal pal. I was in the parking lot of Costco Vaudreuil-Dorion, checking out the route I was going to take depending on whether an old buddy On one side of the split highway either. Wanted to meet in Hawkesbury or should I drop in and take her with me for a gas run because Montreal gas prices were about a dollar 79 while the best price in the Alexandria Hawkesbury Van cleek Hill area was actually this ultramar gas station in Ontario in Alexandria, but closer to the Hawkesbury run. I asked Google maps to drive me there and they put me through the most glorious farmlands I've never seen in Quebec and they must have been partially in Ontario as well. Nothing but country roads almost all the way there, including rolling hills and tall trees. Enough that my GPS couldn't get a signal for a little while. It started off as a sunny day and I was surprised because the weather forecast called for torrential rains and heavy winds and within 10 minutes of arriving at the ultramar gas station. After a wonderful countryside drive through beautiful farmland, the storm kicked in with a vengeance. Heavy rains that made visibility at the cross street intersection near the ultramar gas station. Almost impossible and I waited at that corner a few minutes until the rain stopped a bit. Only the winds were almost horizontal. Holy cow. I got to the ultramar and it was raining heavily. They had a rooftop but getting out of my car. I soaked my door and myself until I got underneath the very tall roof and filling up was easy and the electronics at the pump worked perfectly and the price was 155. I think.4 which was about 25 cents cheaper per liter than in Montreal on average. I don't mind saving 25 or 26 cents a litre and I had mostly an empty tank. I filled up for almost $80 and I know in Montreal I would have surpassed $100 easily! I use gas buddy and try to coordinate my roots with best gas prices..I've got a Mazda V6 from 2005 in very good road condition. I actually just changed the clutch assembly even though I'm only at about 160,000 km. I've changed the brakes once and I've had some adjustments done and some insane mechanic took a sledgehammer to my wheels and broke my bearings but that's about all I had to do. Oh yes, and something on top of a spark plug that a lot of different garages I checked out with thought it was the transmission for 1400 to 1600 plus tax when in fact it was just $125 part including labor plus a few more bucks for them to attach an analysis device to let them know what was wrong. Those guys are okay. That did that job. And now I'm back on the road with my five-speed that I wish was 6 speed which it was the next year, but it's got a strong old Ford v6 motor and it's a great car. So I'm happy to get a fantastic gas price and I trust ultramar to provide a quality product at the pump..Next time I want to fill up an Alexandria I'll go to the same place I was where I asked Google maps to give me the route to the ultramar that took me through the beautiful farmland and enjoy that trip all over again. But this time hopefully without the heavy rains and winds ?.Oh yes, and the ultramar gas station was $0.10 cheaper after I filled up. Then two or three other gas stations right nearby that I passed within moments. So I guess they were holding back their price and I wasn't. The only one who knew they had a better price because they were lined up while the other gas stations I passed were not lined up. GasBuddy is a good app for your smartphone. You could save a bunch of money. If you fill up 10 times a year, you'll still save $200 if you live in Montreal with an average full tank fill up. But I think most people fill up a lot more than 10 times. So you guys buddy app for your smartphone and keep saving money. Times are tough and we all need to do the best we can. Thank you ultramar for a great price and a v”
