“Stopped at ALDI specifically to pick up lentils and was genuinely pleased with the overall variety available. While they didn’t have red lentils in stock this time, there were several other types of lentils along with a solid selection of beans and other pantry staples. It was easy to find alternatives, which made the trip worthwhile.
The store is clean, bright, and very well organized. The aisles are simple to navigate, and everything feels straightforward without being overwhelming. I also appreciate how affordable the prices are — it’s one of those places where you can shop mindfully and stay within budget.
The produce section looked fresh, and the middle aisle always has interesting seasonal or household finds, which makes each visit a little different. Checkout was quick and efficient, and the overall experience felt smooth and convenient.
Even though they didn’t have exactly what I came for, I still left satisfied and with everything else I needed. A dependable stop for everyday essentials at great prices.”

“I like this Aldi's more so than the one in Woodhaven because it has a better food selection. I live in the Brownstown/Flat Rock area, but I will drive to this location from now on.”
“Finally went to this grocery store for the first time. It was cute but I did go later in the day so a lot of the sushi that I originally wanted to check out and purchase, was gone with bare shelves. There also wasn't many staff members around besides behind the deli counter, which is completely understandable due to the amount of meats they had. I would definitely come to this place again and purchase some goodies.”
“Low-key shopping with nice employees. As long as you’re not shopping for unusual grocery items or OTC cold meds, this is a great place to shop for food, including rotisserie chicken, fresh cut fruit & even bumpy cake.”

“Not from that area....not too bad...produce needs 'work', most of it was wilted and almost expired...they had most stuff the demographics (culture) of that neighborhood demanded..plenty of alcohol choices, meat looked good too”

“Mostly happy with service. Groceries are competitive, however some can and are bought at the big box because of size and better price. Non perishable. Imo the meat is better then most. Even as good as a local butcher, but better price. Will continue shopping here for most items.”

“I really enjoy shopping at Meijer because it feels like a store where you can find almost everything in one place.
One of my favorite sections is the fresh produce area. The fruits and vegetables always look fresh and well organized, and there is usually a good variety to choose from. It makes grocery shopping feel pleasant instead of rushed.
The bakery is also wonderful. They offer delicious baked goods, and what I especially like is that you can custom order cakes for birthdays or special occasions. That makes it very convenient when you’re planning a celebration.
Another thing I appreciate is the huge variety of products throughout the store. You can find sections for,baby items,clothing for men, women, and kids,household goods,groceries and everyday essentials.
It’s honestly a very large store, so you can often complete all your shopping in one visit.
I also noticed thoughtful features like a recycling section and even ice freezers, which show that the store tries to provide practical services for customers.
Overall, Meijer feels like a well-organized, convenient, and family-friendly place to shop, especially when you need a wide range of products in one location.”

Of course, thank you Trish for thinking of us when sending it and I especially want to thank Katrina and her associate for not only dropping them off in the lounge, but for taking the time to find me, advise of the lunch and to sincerely offer condolences. I just thought that was so nice of them. And OMG, the subs were absolutely amazing and delicious! I will be ordering these in the future. “The Kroger store is great. Very large and roomy, never cluttered. Clean and organized. The meat dept counter has a large selection of fresh cuts and sea food. Deli counter is always well stocked with fresh lunch meats. A large selection of prepared meals. There is a specialty counter with a large selection of cheeses and such. Produce department is always fresh and you always see an attendant attending to the fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall a great grocery store.”

“Been using this pharmacy for about 2 years now without any issues. They fill my prescriptions quickly and it’s rare for something to be out of stock. Any time I call and need to speak with a pharmacist, I’m able to without a long hold. My one and only complaint is that any time we get a liquid medication for the kids, it never comes with a syringe. I’m not sure if we need to ask or what, but every single time we have to go back and get one. Never had this issue anywhere else.”
“Shopping at this Walmart Supercenter on Dix Avenue in Southgate was a positive experience overall. I went with my 80-year-old nanny, and while she finished her shopping I was able to rest and use the blood pressure machine in the store. It actually showed my blood pressure was low, which confirmed exactly how I was feeling at the time, so I really appreciate that they have it available for customers.
The store also had some fun and unexpected finds like a Sonic lava lamp, and I always enjoy browsing the clearance aisle because there are usually unique deals and hidden gems. Overall, it’s a convenient location with helpful amenities and interesting seasonal items.”
