2451A Dougall Ave, WindsorI’ve had consistently excellent experiences at the Hungry Pooch on Dougall Ave. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
I originally came in looking for options to help with my dog’s allergies, and they took the time to walk me through different foods and supplements without any pressure. Their recommendations have been spot on. I now regularly buy Raw Performance Pure Turkey, along with a few supplements and treats, and it’s one of the few places I’ve found that truly accommodates dogs with multiple allergies.
They also go beyond just being a pet store by hosting in-store events like seasonal photo sessions and nail trimming, which is a nice bonus.
Overall, it’s a great local shop with staff who clearly care about what they do. Highly recommend.

I had a very frustrating experience when I purchased my grooming table online through Ren’s about 8 months ago , but every time I go into the Windsor store in person, it’s a completely different experience thanks to these employees.
They are always so helpful, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. As a professional dog groomer, I really appreciate staff who genuinely understand grooming products and take the time to answer questions and help customers find what they need.
Shanna, Caleb, and Delaney consistently go above and beyond with customer service and always make shopping there a positive experience. It’s employees like them that keep me coming back to the store.

Our waiter was very attentive and on top of everything and brought a complimentary dessert when he found out we were celebrating an anniversary. He even brought gluten free bread out for me when he overheard I couldn't eat the regular complimentary bread.

Super affordable lunch special as well!
Immediately upon entering you see a man churning out beatiful dumplings by hand at an insane speed. If you have ever tried to make dumplings yourself, watching this guy work will humble you.

Best poutine I’ve ever had. I liked it so much I ordered it 2 days in a row and it was just as good the second time. We’re talking delivery too. Hot and fresh on arrival both times. I wouldn’t have taken the time to post this review if it didn’t knock my socks off. Simon’s can move over. Autocity is my go-to now.
