“I’ve been to the Marshalls in Barrie several times over the past couple of months while shopping for Christmas and vacation items. The store is always neat and well organized, with new things every visit. Marion truly stands out, she is consistently pleasant, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making every visit a great experience.”

“This thrift store is great. Very clean, well organized and friendly staff. It's right across the road from a Zehrs, so you can park there and just walk across the road to the thrift store. Parking is sometimes hard to find, though you can always go to Zehrs to park if there are no spots available.”

“It's your typical Walmart, however the lay out of the parking lot is horrible. There are a lot of near miss accidents so please be carful walking through the maze with any small children. The building is pretty newly renovated and the bathrooms tend to be better stocked and cleaner than the north side Barrie Walmart. I live closer to the north end but drive to this Walmart because they don't charge you for bags or make you pay a deposit for a shopping cart like the north end store does. This Walmart tends to stock efficiently even when their are big sales people are price matching from other stores Customer Service is good except for the lack of representation in sporting goods. However I believe that problem is not limited to this store. For one stop shopping this local Walmart takes the cake. Downfall however is it is not 24 hours”
“I haven't stepped foot in any Walmart since early 2020. I have not felt comfortable shopping at huge stores ever since the pandemic started. Lately, I am more comfortable being in larger spaces. Baby steps, of course! On Saturday, I was out and about for four hours. I needed the find a washroom, as I had downed a number of beverages since I had left the house. On my way to the Barrie Ribfest, I spotted this Walmart across the street and decided to stop by. There are plenty of parking spots. The downside is that some drivers are nuts. One guy was oblivious backing out and doing a circle in the parking lot. Another guy decided to park across all four handicap parking spots. Why?! I got a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. I then walked in. It felt both weird and familiar being at a Walmart again. This one is set up the way that you'd expect a Walmart to be. The washrooms were right at the front. I was so happy. The women's washroom was clean. I did not buy anything. I needed lunch! I was pleased seeing Sistema items when I first walked into the store. The aisles looked wide and bright. There was a greeter by the automatic doors. He didn't say a word. I'm not sure if greeters are supposed to be silent these days. I'll need to return to Barrie for more than an hour! I had ribs on my mind, so it was a bonus stop here. I'll definitely come back and check things out more thoroughly. (322)”

“This Walmart is always very well stocked, and there are usually employees around when you need help, which I really appreciate. The only downside I’ve noticed is that some of the staff in the makeup department can come across as a bit unkind during checkout and while shopping. Overall though, it’s a great store.”
