Not only did she explain why our skates were dull, but she took the time to walk us through how we should be getting them sharpened in the future to prevent them from wearing down. She was patient, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable.
After my boyfriend found a pair of hockey skates he fell in love with, she spent the next hour helping us find the right pair. She was running back and forth, answering questions, and making sure we found something that worked for him.
We’ve both been playing hockey for years, have purchased skates and equipment countless times, and have had our skates sharpened more times than we can count. But I have genuinely never experienced customer service like this.
Alicia is incredibly well-educated and knowledgeable, not only about skates but about hockey equipment in general. She knows her stuff, and it shows. Honestly, we’ve decided that we want her sharpening our skates for the rest of our damn lives because we know we’re in good hands.
I was genuinely shocked when I asked if she was a manager and she told me she wasn’t. She should absolutely be an assistant manager or in a higher position. You guys are incredibly lucky to have her.
This was, hands down, the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Alicia, thank you so much for everything you did for us today. We’ll be coming back exclusively to you moving forward.
