“Great shop! I went here because of some of the other reviews saying they were reputable and honest. Called the morning of because two of my tires kept loosing air, they asked if I could just drop off the car and they’d squeeze me in, so I did and they were able to fix the problems within a few hours! Extremely nice people very transparent about what was wrong and what they did to fix it, great pricing too! Will most definitely be coming back”
“We were traveling from Toronto to Bancroft on one of the hottest and smokiest days of July 2026 when we ran into an AC issue. We’re so lucky to have found Bob Kelly Automotive on our route. Called ahead explaining our situation and with an idea of the problem cause. They said bring it in, no worries about schedule. We stopped there, they immediately took the car in and fixed the issue. Kindly called us back to the shop to explain the problem, the fix, and what we needed to do for the next few days to keep the car from having moisture issues. Forty-five minutes later (tops) and we were on our way. The stop at Bob Kelly Automotive and their capable, courteous, attentive service was a highlight of our little trip. Glad to have found them and will certainly consider them if the need arises again or if anyone needs a recommendation.”

“I came to this shop because of their great reviews earlier this year and was incredibly impressed with the service and honesty about the state of my vehicle and what is worth repairing. We’d been told by a certain mechanic chain that we needed $2400 in repairs urgently. I did not believe this one bit, but I was worried about the car because we were having issues. So I brought the car to Peterborough Auto Maintenance and he was able to honestly tell me what was causing the issue with our car ($180 fix! Not $2400 lol) and I drove away happy and super relieved.
I recommend this shop to everyone now. He has the fairest pricing I’ve encountered, and very importantly, extremely clear communication. Nothing is done unless I’ve given the go ahead. He is clear about what he recommends doing and why. He explains his recommendations so you can make an informed decision.
I highly recommend this shop. Especially if you are an owner of an older car, having a trusted mechanic will save you hundreds or thousands in unnecessary repairs. We’ve used 4 shops around town in the time we’ve owned this car and no one beats Peterborough Auto on transparency, communication, and fair pricing.”
