“I was looking for one thing, vital wheat gluten, and they had it in stock. It was cheaper than on Amazon, then they subtracted 20% because it was in a flyer, and then another deduction because I'm a senior. I have no idea about the availability of anything else in the store, but they had what I wanted and I'm happy.
The staff was helpful and polite and there is tons of free parking.”

Their washroom does need to be cleaned more often. It smelled terrible I almost gagged. There was a huge pile of garbage in the corner and I saw tissue with wiped poo on it. Really gross. We had to use it for my son or he'd had an accident otherwise if we can hold it I would not go into their washroom. It's disgusting and other maintained.”

This store has all the groceries' items...fresh vegetables and fruits, all kinds of spices .
Sobeys has its own Backary ...vary famous for making special cakes for birthday parties and any other special occasion .
They have a pharmacy ...it's a great advantage for people to get the medicine easily during the shopping.
They have a flower shop and indoor plants, too .

“Let me start off by saying I love this Metro grocery store at Trinity common but I have a issue with the food service department which they sell pizza and all sorts of type of food so today Sunday October 20 I came there to get a large tree topping pizza and they only have two staffs working in this department so I get there there's one white lady and one Chinese lady that works there at the front around 10:00 a.m. in the morning so I'm waiting at least a while and they even haven't served me yet and I'm sure they see me standing there ready to take my order so the Chinese lady finally asked me what do I need and I said I want it all large three topping pizza so the Chinese lady handles busy dealing with the shrimps to take my order so she pass it on to the white lady behind her and ask her to serve me and she was very unprofessional her response back to me is what like I am annoying her and I didn't even appreciate that all she had to say to me is sorry sir I will take your order in a minute stop what shes doing an approach me in a respectful way and say it hi good morning how can I take your order she was very unprofessional in dealing with me as a customer responding back to me in a manner in saying what she needs to improve her working skills and how to deal with customers she's very unprofessional how she handed me this morning and don't get me wrong I love this Metro grocery store it's the best one so far”

“I have been a regular customer ever since they opened this location. Their food items some are really good specially non veg items others are not all five stars but the prices are good. Last weekend for the first time I had catering done for medium size party. Every item I ordered was cooked to perfection with no extra oil or cream floating on top. Their Mixed veg had good combination of veggies and Palak paneer had good amount of paneer, chicken curry was a hit with those who ate, everyone praised the yummy food. Quantity was good I had some leftover sabji last night after 4 days and it was as good as fresh. I had compared the prices a lot and their prices were $5 to $10 per person cheaper ?. I am never catering from anywhere else, give them a try and I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks Indian Panjabi bazaar ?”

“If find this Food Basics to be the best grocery store in Caledon. It has a good selection of all the needed products and brand names. The store is well organized and has enough space so that the isles are easy to navigate. And the prices are very reasonable, especially the store brands and the sales. The staff are pleasant and helpful and they usually have a decent amount of cash lines open. It is not nearly as pretentious as the Fortinos down the street. Caledon is lucky to have this store as an option.”
