“I returned a sweater/dress my husband bought me for Christmas as it was too big. The owner couldn't have been kinder! We had a great time looking through her collection and she stocks a lot of Canadian made, high quality clothing. I went away with three items that I love and will definitely return when things improve with the pandemic. I also bought a gorgeous pair of shoes, on sale. Support your local shops, buy Canadian!”

Not only did she go above and beyond in helping me find my dress, she made sure to be available when I booked my fitting appointment when it came in and helped not only my mom with dresses but also my sister in laws for our bridal party! “Came into the store today looking to purchase a work style jacket. I was met by Franco who took me through some of the product line in the store. He patiently explained a number of key features of different jackets. I settled on a hooded carhartt jacket and I'm very happy with my purchase.

“This store has a lot of great finds! From clothes to wallets to beautiful embroidered tea towels to shoes etc etc etc. Canadian made stuff too. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
I visited today and they only one left of the item i wanted and it was part of their window display. They had no problem getting it out for me. This is a fun store to check out and browse around in. Lots of nice gift items!”
“Been here maannyyy time in the past. It’s honestly my favourite place in Burlington and today I had the pleasure of meeting Sav. She was soo lovely and helpful. She greeted me when I first walked in, was honest with me and kept checking in on me up until she rung me up probably an hour later. She is so sweet and has such a good vibe! “Dress shopping is at the bottom of my list of fun things to do. I expect to feel uncomfortable. Today we walked in with our Sunday grub on and felt so welcomed. We had the most friendly and accessible experience here! We came in to find formal dresses for a winter wedding and Nancy and her staff we wonderful! They let us wander around checking in here and there. When it came to trying dresses on they were more than helpful and honest regarding fit. We are so glad we each walked out with gorgeous one of a kind dresses (2 for $700!) feeling really excited! Nancy is lovely and takes her time with you and makes the experience personable, positive and fun!”
“It's crazy how well Hot Topic pivoted but also didn't in the changing pop culture landscape. From what i understand it was primarily where you bought your favourite band shirts and goth / punk / grunge adjacent apparel. THEN it became the one stop shop for everything Gir and video game merch. Then anime. Now its kind of a mix of all that plus some internet properties and what remains of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, with a bit of that bubblegum goth estetic, a la, Sanrio.
...anyway, that's just my observation. If you want pop culture merch and clothes, its eithor here, or EB Games, Sunrise Records, Conspiracy Comics, and the HMV section of the remaining Toys R Us store.
Staff are real nice and friendly. Always an interesting browse to see how out of touch i am!”

“I’ve been shopping with Lace and Envy for about a Month now. I’ve had 4 orders and each item has been great quality and super cute. The orders were dropped off to my home within days of the order being placed or arriving in store if it was a preorder item. “Just spent over 1k in the store but still not getting shopping bags to pack my stuff… It’s not about the 1 CAD that a reusable bag costs after spending 1000 CAD… It’s a matter of principle. I get that to save the environment and I do agree. But people are not spending (I guess) a thousand dollars every day so maybe it would be great to have a minimum spend threshold for customers where above that they get decent service with shopping bags. Also, it would be great to get at least a 5 or 10 percent discount as this amount would make me feel like coming back and spending here again. 4 stars because of the selection. It was great honestly.”

“This lovely consignment shop is excellent. The clothes are all in very good condition. Some look like they have never been worn at all. Maureen prices the items fairly and there is usually a sale on so you get a discount as well. I loved browsing in here and the fitting areas are huge and private.
I live nearby so I plan on going in there often.
I highly recommend coming to browse here. You will be surprised at the quality of clothing and fair prices. NO pushy sales people.”
