We found my dress, my girlfriend's maid of honour dress and 2 pairs of shoes!

“We have been customers of Blackbird for over a decade. We support them because they design and produce local, handmade clothing. But they are easy to support because their styles are unique, fun and usually well made! Not all of their styles fit a plus size body but there is always something for a plus sized body. Recently, they filled a request to make two dresses of a previous style/line for our young adult children and they did so with enthusiasm and great communication! Service is always friendly! We highly recommend!”

“I’ve been shopping with Lace and Envy for about a Month now. I’ve had 4 orders and each item has been great quality and super cute. The orders were dropped off to my home within days of the order being placed or arriving in store if it was a preorder item. I’ve always received friendly emails to let me know the items were delivered. Can’t say enough about this small lical business. Just ordered an item as a gift and can’t wait to see what the recipient thinks of the item. I know she will love it.”

“This store has a lot of great finds! From clothes to wallets to beautiful embroidered tea towels to shoes etc etc etc. Canadian made stuff too. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
I visited today and they only one left of the item i wanted and it was part of their window display. They had no problem getting it out for me. This is a fun store to check out and browse around in. Lots of nice gift items!”

“Ive been in several times over the years getting my Converse
I was in yesterday (10 April 2026) and noticed they had a very limited selection, whatever it happens. I was told Converse wasn't being made anymore by the male employee working there (I was there maybe around 11 am). I thought that was unusual, but I hadn't heard anything, but that didn't mean it wasn't true. The employee me said it a few times while I was getting my shoes.
Checked this morning, and low and behold, Converse is NOT going out of business.
Maybe the employee was incorrectly told the wrong information or lying but either way I should have completely disregarded the information. Maybe you guys are getting any more Converse stock in?
4 stars because Ive gotten my shoes there (and been happy with them) and the staff are generally decent there. Please get your facts correct though. I distrust people as a rule, but you're gonna get customers that are normally trusting and not as jaded as I am and are gonna believe what you tell them”

It was my first time shopping with her post-diagnosis. I didn’t know how she would do. As we shopped, it hit me hard that my mom is forever changed. That I am now her caregiver. That we are grieving while she is still here. One of the sales associates, Joanne, was amazing. I cannot say thank you enough, Joanne, for giving my Mom a wonderful shopping experience. You were so helpful and so compassionate. You knew exactly what to say and what clothes would be great for her now. I wanted to tell you this at the store but I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the words out and I didn’t want to scare my Mom by crying. You were just the gift we needed today.”
