“These guys are simply the best.
Many have commented about their great experiences, and I could easily add mine (as I feel the same)! However, to avoid repetition, I'll comment on additional aspects not typically mentioned.
I'm familiar with other similar businesses, and can compare from a position of experience. Their facilities are superb- such as the bottle fillers and corking equipment (on the customer side). And the equipment is very well-maintained and a pleasure to use, there's no concern about a breakdown during the customer experience.
I'm also familiar with their processing procedures and techniques- beyond excellent! They have an extremely high attention to detail and always implement the best procedures per documented best practices and their solid judgement. Sanitation and hygiene are outstanding. And if it occurs to them that there's an even better way to do something (to produce an even higher-quality product, for example), they're always tweaking and experimenting (on their own batches) towards continued improvement. The end products to the customers are high-quality, and a disappointing or sub-standard wine should never be a concern.
A lot of other shops are content with simply grinding out whatever is profitable to them, often with whatever is the easiest from their side. In contrast, these guys are very innovative and frequently experiment with new things. For me personally, there are some specific examples that have been extremely satisfying. It's always neat to hear what they're up to or thinking about!
On the business side, their products are very reasonably priced; and they are both very pleasant to deal with. They have a passion for what they do, and it's very obvious in how they deal with customers. In other words, James and Jeff are a couple of really nice guys! And very knowledgeable with not only the wine-making business, but many matters in general (which often spills over into improved wine making!).
You can't go wrong by visiting this shop!”

“This is a massive hidden Gem in Toronto - Besides the wine selection which is fantastic, you can sit at the bar and order food and sit there drink your wine and chill. TANYA might be the best bar tender wine knower that I've seen in a while. She really make the place for me.”

“Just want to give a quick shout out to Manjeet at the LCBO Bullock Drive location. She is always super friendly and helpful and navigates the vintages section with excellent knowledge of the wines. I will say the store itself looks a bit understocked but certainly not a reflection on her and she was wonderful in giving us suggestions even with low inventory.”

“Helpful staff, small selection of wine from the nearby Niagara region. Since I didn't recognize any of the options, the staff was happy to provide recommendations. The shelf labels show the amount of sugar (i.e. dryness) in each wine. I always thought I liked 'dry' red wine - thanks to this store, I learned that what I actually like is high-tannin red wine.”
“I would say this is one of the nicer LCBO stores in Toronto. It’s very well stocked with an impressive selection of wines and top shelf products. It’s always a quick in and out here which I find nice because it can get busy being so close to the beaches! The staff are generally very friendly. I would say though on a busy hot day in the summer, know what you want before going in to ensure you are not stuck in line all afternoon.”

“The service is so nice and warm no matter the weather outside. Vintages section for Whiskey and Wine is well organized and the place is clean and bright. Lovely layout to the store for the space, and usually great finds in the cabinets. The beer captains have a solid selection.”

“Outstanding Service from Natalie at LCBO
Natalie was the acting manager today at LCBO and made my return transaction incredibly smooth. I only had a picture of the receipt, and the purchase was made at a different location. Since the barcode wouldn’t scan, she had to manually enter all the information herself.
She handled everything professionally and efficiently, without any hesitation. I truly appreciate the extra effort she put in to help me. Without her, I would have wasted time going to another location.
