“I recently tried D&D Poultry and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and so easy to enjoy at home. The chicken souvlaki was incredible — so tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The chicken shawarma was also amazing and tasted just like something you’d get from a great restaurant. Their fully cooked wings were huge, delicious, and had the perfect flavour. The lemon pepper chicken breast was another favourite — it was so soft and not dry at all, which is honestly hard to find with chicken breast. And I have to mention the tzatziki… it is genuinely one of the best tzatzikis I’ve ever had. It’s so fresh and creamy and goes perfectly with everything (especially the pita). You can really tell they put care into their products. It’s made having delicious meals at home so easy, and I’ll definitely be ordering again!”

“I love the Kensington location. However, I live much closer to the Gerrard & Coxwell location, so this is the one I visit most often. The quality of the meat and other products is excellent, and the selection is thoughtfully curated. My four star rating is based almost entirely on the customer service rather than the products themselves. The staff could be friendlier and take customers’ questions more seriously. To be fair, on most visits it has seemed like there was some kind of issue or the staff were simply in a bad mood. On two separate occasions, we arrived shortly before closing and were told we couldn’t be served, even though the store was still open. As a small business owner myself, I find that disappointing. In my view, you’re either open or you’re closed. Closing tasks should be done before or after business hours whenever possible, but customers who arrive during posted operating hours should still be welcomed and served. The products are outstanding, and that’s what keeps me coming back. With a more welcoming attitude and a stronger focus on customer service, this location would easily earn five stars.”

“Had the most delicious cordon blue chicken… thought I was ordering the individual serving ones but it was like a roast… cooked it as per the directions and carved it up. 30$ and fed at least 6 people. Really yummy. All their stuff is great. Another customer said their pork souvlaki were delicious so will try those next time. Really a beautiful butcher shop. Worth a visit. Note re the Mongolian beef kabobs that a customer found inedible… they are! But we figured it out. As soon as we get home we wash all the marinade off them. Then they’re very good. Still a bit spicy but very tender.”
