“Schuele Ace Hardware is exactly what a neighborhood hardware store should be. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to point you in the right direction. You can walk in with a project, a problem, or even just a vague idea of what you need, and someone there will help you figure it out.
The store is well stocked, easy to get through, and far more convenient than wandering around a big-box store trying to find someone who knows what they’re talking about. It has that old-school Buffalo neighborhood feel, but with the products and service you actually need.
Great local business. Highly recommend.”
“I try not to go anywhere else for my building/home improvement supplies if I don't have to. The Manager Mike S. is the absolute best! He always goes above and beyond, answering an infinite amount of questions and advising me on every meticulous detail of all my home improvement needs! If I bring him a concept with no idea of where to even start, he not only compiles the list of supplies for me to complete it with, but also comes up with an efficient step by step process to bring my project ideas to life! (Or he refers me to a reliable source that can do it for me when he knows I'm in way over my head... ? in which case, he will then coordinate with BOTH myself and the contractor I hire thru the entire process, keeping me informed of everything along the way!) And on the rare occasion that any problems arise with any of the products that I purchase from Lenco, he's always got my back and does everything in his power to rectify the situation. I wish he could be my own personal project manager for all my home improvement needs, but sadly he's already taken!! ? Lenco is lucky to have him!”
“I make it a point to shop at Valu for all that they offer and stopped going to the big box stores if Value has it. They are a locally owned family business, that is supportive of the community and they welcome all no matter your political perspective. Weekly sales help round out prices of higher priced items. Purchasing from local owners is great for our community and helps strengthen or community.”
“Love this store this is my one of my total favorite stores in all of the country easy to get in easy to get out. They have what you need and they always have staff educated staff to help.”
“Great little hardware store. Had everything I needed. Even took my order, ahead of time and held on to it for me for 10 days before I came to pick it up. Verona went the extra mile ! She is so dedicated to her customers and their needs, very pleasant and helpful! She is an asset to that store ! Thank you Verona for going above and beyond for me ! You really gave an impressionable customer service!”
“Staff are polite and eager to help. There have never been more than three customers present regardless of the time or weekday. Store is too large for the amount of merchandise stocked. Items are displayed well and priced correctly. Front entrance could be more aesthetically welcoming. Store feels like stepping back in time instead of keeping up with technology and trends. A good location for grabbing paint, caulk, and small hardware.”
“Excellent costumer service, I coming to exchange a small generator, for bigger one, all the transaction was smooth and I’m very happy whit my purchase.
I recommend this harbor freight tools”
“Old school charm wonderful family owned an operated business that has served our community my entire 50 plus yr. Thank you's for sticking it out through the chaos 🫶”
“Great place to get what you need for the small home project. It’s nice not having to leave the Island to get what you need.
The staff is extremely helpful.”
“I’ve purchased my last 2 lawnmowers here and have rented equipment from them over the years. Always VERY helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to work with you. They only carry quality products and sometimes when a homeowner like me goes in it’s like a kid in a toy store when you see all the equipment they have and wish you had more land to get some of those toys for! Joe is a good dude and he’ll take care of you.”
“Amazing experience!! The prices are super affordable and honestly hard to beat. Customer service was top tier really friendly, helpful, and made everything easy. You can tell they actually care about their customers. Overall, great quality for such cheap prices. Definitely coming back and highly recommend to anyone!”
“Great service! Had the part I needed right away. Helped me get the correct part via the model number. Quoted price immediately over the phone. Held part for me. Would definitely call them again.”
“Duch Builders has the BEST customer service. They know how to do pretty much anything. Walk in their with any project idea you have and they'll help you come up with a solution that works for you.”
“Mr Mangione is great. He is a gentlemen help me pick out the product I need thorough and knows everything about his store I get 5 Star reviews for the knowledge of the store five stars for the customer service and highly recommend”
“I don't use them but my landlord does. All I know is if if wasn't for Lou I wouldn't have a working shower or bathroom sink. The man knows what he's doing!”
“From listening to conversations, I can tell you the father and son Team here really cares about helping people out and are extremely knowledgeable just from listening to them. Super friendly highly recommend anybody else as well. I rented a torpedo heater and they even had some good recommendations how to use it. I’m not in the neighborhood often but if you need some help, this is the place to go, they have a good amount of hardware and other things to choose from as well besides just rentals on the shelf, depending on what you need to buy.”
“The best in rental. Edit: To the previous renter with the gas pole pruner, THD does offer many wrenches for any tools that may require adjustment in the field, including the pole pruner. The safety bucket (you declined to take with you) includes a helmet, ear/eye protection, chaps and ADJUSTMENT WRENCH. The tools are quality and safety inspected before EVERY rental and these bolts can easily be adjusted by anyone with a crescent/socket wrench, or even a simple pair of pliers. Chainsaw chains frequently become loose after use so this should not have come as a shock to you. A lack of knowledge and experience on your part apparently equates to a 1 star review for a retailer renting tools as a service for those in need. If you're unsure of what you may need when renting an unfamiliar tool, ask and we'll gladly explain! Maybe just take the safety bucket next time...”
“My Mom ordered Front and Back Storm Doors for our House. A guy named Conlee installed the Doors for us, he did a great job. Very professional job, thank you Home Depot”
“North Buffalo Home Depot is amazing in much nicer than the Amherst location that I'm always going to. The staff go above and beyond, and they have yet to fail me. When they know me on a first name basis, that's just what it's about. That quickly made me realize that these guys remember who they are talking to and that they pay attention to their customers. Looks like I'm saying goodbye to Amherst. I worked with her gentleman named Russell and Dan. Russell was a manager, and Dan worked in the power to while. These two gentlemen made my evening much easier.”

“This is the place to go for any hardware needs. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Forget the big stores where it takes 5 minutes to find someone only to hear that's not my department . I'll try to find someone to help you.
At Langdons the moment you walk in you hear how can I help you. That's the place to go. VERY friendly service.”
